Btw, wat do you think about the samsung one, it has this offer right now "1 Year Extended Warranty and Upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for Rs.699/-".
Also, if i order in a day or two, n it arrives after 15th nov. ("Additional Warranty valid on all customer purchases made on or after 1st September, 2012 till 15th Nov 2012."), will i still get the additional warranty?
That Windows 8 upgrade offer is not limited to Samsung, and is valid on any Windows 7 computer purchased now(till January 30, IIRC).
And date of purchase is important for warranty, not date of arrival at your home.

@Alpha, do you know of any way to turn on/off USB devices like webcam from within an Ubuntu environment without physically removing/reinserting the device?
-
No warnings here.

How to do they make this sh*t? -
Oh I meant the most-anticipated but "not sure if it exists" games.
-
How many high-profile most anticipated games do we have coming on the PS3? I can recall TLG, FFv13, and Agent.
-
technical limitation = move the game to PC.

yup, Kaizen handle the rms for Crosair and their service is legendary. Got a brand new v2 psu delivered at my home for a v1 psu in 2 days flat.
Okay. I was just asking them about their international warranty policy, but they replied saying that they don't have service centre in India, which was not my question. I've again mailed them now with more emphasis on the international warranty part.
-
Call up APC India, they have some 1.5KVA and 2KVA home inverters for those situations. Cheerio!
Forget that. The first option that intelligent people do is better. Also, see that post about Corsair RMA that is on the first post of this page.

^But what is a better UPS than that, below 10k? I suspect none?
-
FK says all of them have a 1366*768 res.
Sorry, my bad. I doubt you'll get a better resolution notebook below 40k though.

I mailed Corsair about their warranty policy on SSDs, and surprisingly got the following reply:
Thank you for contacting Corsair Customer Service.
We do not have a service center in India. You can request an RMA number on our website at http://www.corsair.com/support/technicalsupport . After you have completed the online form, you will receive an email confirmation with the RMA number and packaging instructions within 24 hours.
If you have any questions please contact us via email at rmaservice@corsair.com or by phone at 1-888-222-4346.
Thank you for choosing Corsair.

Question: I want to know about warranty/support of a Corsair Neutron SSD bought from USA(Amazon.com to be precise). Will I get warranty/support for that in India?
Is this true? I thought they had a good Indian presence with their RAM, PSUs and cabinets.
-
So the APC UPS that come for Rs 5000 come in a maximum capacity of 660W. Then how the hell do people use PSUs with greater Watt rating in order to have a power hungry SLI/XFire solution?
-
Any laptop offering a decent resolution (read NOT 1366 * 768) in the 40k price bracket ?
See the post above yours.
