At the same time happy with the inclusion of Mayank in all 3 formats he's very good stroke player. Also KL promoted to VC in ODI & T20, Wasn't Iyer doing that in the past ?? He was Captain in some game IIRC. But overall good to see some juniors being given a chance in this tough series, They must be thinking of 2023 WC now.

Yes those 2 matches should have been closed out & won. KXIP need to beat SRH & KKR and KKR Should lose today, Then KXIP will be in the playoffs without having to worry about any more wins. Need to win 2 out of 4 but that would mean depending on other results and 3 out of 4 wins will mean sure shot spot in the playoffs. Todays both games are very crucial.

But DC's defeat is essential for RCB Backing punjab for evening's game. Should be a good game.

Tomorrow is a big day for KKR-KXIP-SRH, Most likely tomorrow we will get to know whose the top contender for 4th spot. KXIP vs SRH is a knockout game. Where as KKR-DC game is do or die for KKR, Want KKR to lose as it will give hope to SRH-KXIP-RR for the 4th spot.

IMO Dhawan should play all ICC tournaments till he retires, He's in a different zone when it comes to ICC tournaments. Rohit-Dhawan-KL-Kohli-Iyer-Jaddu-Hardik-Chahal-Shami-Bumrah-Saini. (Manish-Mayank-Pant-Sundar-D.Chahar). This I feel is the best available side given their current IPL form, Cant say about the WC but surely for Aus Tour this team should be picked. The WC team will be picked after the next IPL around June-July. Also I have read somewhere Pandya won't be bowling for some time due to his back.

I am not just talking about this match, Overall this IPL since I mentioned T20 WC team so obviously It didn't really was about his performance of todays match. Just go back and watch all the matches he played & compare him with KL, Then you will probably think twice before defending him

Its really hard to pick 16 for the T20 WC, All the batsmen are doing really well. Also good to see shami darting in Yorkers. Dhawan back in form just before international cricket will resume. Rohit-Dhawan-Rahul-Kohli-Iyer probably the best top 5 in T20 & ODI's. Pant is just not doing justice to his selection even in his IPL team, Dropping catches-missing run out chances & Out of Runs. Don't see him making a comeback into the national side for another year. He needs to work on his fitness, Cant really be representing your country with that kind of fitness.

He has the best ER amongst all Punjab bowlers 8 overs for 52 in 2 matches. I think they are playing him for bowling and fielding, Batting is just a add on I feel given his recent form.

2020 has been very bad to us but I think 2020 will save us from this disaster . Don't see them winning IPL they might qualify but not winning the title.

Yess exactly why I came here.. So RR looked like table toppers in both the games at Sharjah now this is the reality of this team when playing on bigger grounds. Don't see them winning lot of games now. Will win only those games in which Buttler scores. Delhi, Mumbai look like favourites to me at this point still too early to predict though.. But Delhi was favourite for me even before the ipl started I think my post is there before the ipl started.

Too early to say that. But I think team for next WC is already selected. But surely Pant is not gonna find a place in the team now, Samson-Mayank deserve the place imo.
