Save glitch is fixed....but still play in offline mode
If you are going for trophies then start on Hard or else you won't be able to unlock Survivor difficulty but if you are playing just for the experience and story then start it on Normal....
And Listen mode is quite useful on hard difficulty...Don't turn it off...
Source ? In UC to unlock Crushing you have to complete it on hard....iam sure it's same here....

I started on hard to unlock Survivor difficulty....You can't unlock Survivor on Normal....
Lol you can unlock survivor difficulty by completing game on any difficulty.

I advise to keep looking at the autosave so once it froze, simply quit the game as there is no point of progressing and you can't save later

Yea faced it couple of times...very annoyingAnybody else get the auto save glitch?
Bloody annoying. Have to replay huge chunks again and again...
Hope it gets patched soon as many of them are facing this issue
