Anyone getting their hopes high for 2012 is a moron. But it's a well-made bad movie. I recommend watching it for the CGI and hilariously over-the-top scenes alone. I'm gonna buy it when it comes out on blu-ray/DVD for the two awesome sequences

^^ no.. all 4800 series cards are dx10.. ati will be launching new 5800 series they will be dx 11 compatible AFAIK..
meaning they will be expensive
so like is the DX 11 a necessity to play upcoming games ?? upcoming as in coming 2 years maximum.

hi, please give me an idea about a gaming pc for 30,000 at current prices.dont include monitor and dvd drive/burner, quote prices for the rest.
I want a pc that can handle games till dec 2011-jan 2012. dont want anything super AAA or what, if the games look at par (better also welcome) with the ps3 then its ok. Main aim is to cut down expensive price for ps3 games and play mass effect 2
i dont know much about pc apart from the fact that 4850 and 4870 are best value for money.
an one more thing. .are the cards i mentioned the 4850 and 70 compatible with the upcoming Dx 11 ??
