  1. looked at the failtel's website.....looks they have introduced new plans....night unlimted ones looks attractive (Mumbai circle)....but but but why there have to be a price difference for Delhi and Mumbai.....F U FAILTEL ranting.gif

I was just looking at the plans as well. They have the following 2 tempting plans for Mumbai:

    Unlimited 1mbps @ 1700

Unlimited 512kbps @ 1300 (doubles to 1mbps in the night)

Even though Airtel has implemented the FUP, their plans are oh so tempting.

  2. I don't know about anyone else, but Tata has been really good to me. Have gotten some real value for money from their packs, and their service has been excellent (again, I'm speaking from personal experience).

The thing is, TATA reviews are always mixed. In some areas they're great and in others they're just wires that claim to provide internet services.

From the majority of reviews I've heard from Airtel customers, it's safe to say that they are pretty much the best at service and value for money when compared to the other major ISPs.

/Not getting paid for pimping Airtel

Do all the new 2mbps plans come with unlimited downloads?

Wha are your options if you don't want to go with Airtel?

The thing is, the 2mbps and 1mbps plans that they offer are better in most aspects than other ISPs. Also, they have varied plans to cater to a larger variety of broadband users, for example: the plans that double at night.

If you don't want to go for Airtel, you have to check which other ISP is good in your locality. TATA is the only other seemingly safe bet.

  3. It's good to see some improvement in the Indian broadband sector (thanks to Airtel). When I came here two years ago people couldn't get a decent 256kbps and now everyone seems to be upgrading to all the new 2mbps plans.

    :O

I hope the place I'm shifting to has Airtel, can't stand these other ISPs anymore.

  4. Both costed Rs. 1000, but Wind Waker belongs to Reggie. BTW, this is the PAL two-disc edition which includes the original Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time along with the Master Quest expanded remix - all on one disc.

    Even sweeter.

Actually, I don't have a Cube anymore. Backwards compatibility ftw tongue.gif

Oh yeah, forgot about that. :naughty:

  5. ohh u mean without a bbq , just marinate it with salt pepper and (meat masala if u want )and pop it in the grill of ure micro till some of the juice in the chicken evaporates

-1 for not knowing BBQ chicken.

I meant the one that's made in the oven with a BBQ sauce coating.

  6. even if you are getting 60% of the promised speed its cheaper then the present wired alternatives ..

I'm not sure how many people are aware of this but contention ratios in India can range from 1:8 to 1:20

I.e. If the speed you're getting is 1/8th up to 1/20th of the speed advertised it's still under company standards and you can't argue against it once you've signed up for the connection because signing up technically means you agree to this compromise beforehand.
