He is definitely coming back to Auction next year, no way Goenka is paying 27 crores for one more year for a PR created poster boy in whiteball cricket. I think next year he will be picked by some other franchisee for 10-12 cr or maybe by LSG itself.
PS: Is there a way that franchisee can offer a lower cost to a player to stay and increase there mini auction pool? Or he has to be released and go back under the hammer.
His captaincy was sh*t, so was his batting, he can not be playing ODI innings in T20I, while Miller sitting and chilling.

Their age old formula of playing with experienced old players is not working from few years and this time they built entire team again around that thought. Game has moved on, CSK needs a move on to, feels sad to see how once the mighty have fallen so bad. 1 six in 20 overs vs 10 sixes in 10 overs.

I think Rohit will call it quits in test arena and try to prolong his ODI career till 2027 world cup. Jadeja might also follow suit, or he might quit ODI and play test for couple of more years.
