    Had a reliance wimax...worked great for 2-3 weeks and then the normal issues cant connect to VPN office work going for a toss...

     

    Disconnected now was on 300kbps unlimited plan for 999 bucks.

     

    Luckily Airtel by then setup shop in my area now on airtel 384kbps Unlimited download for 999 freakin rocks....

     

    If you have airtel just pick it you wont be disappointed....

    hey plz count me in for the next meet,I ll get my 360 along......

    For next meet we are full but we will consider you for one after that

    im n for the next week's meet bt wont be able to make it if it gets postponed for anoother week!! lemme know if space is there for next week

    I am still stuck at amsterdam. But will be back on 5th night. Heard 7th is a holiday in bangalore. So u know!!

    Got my PSN ID.

     

    Btw I can play online with Resistance Region 2 Disc on the indian ps3 console. Just tried it and its lag free.

     

    I got the cable, the exact identical one which i was using for X360 and nope

    still no audio :bigyellowgrin:

    what firewall do u use?

     

    Normal XP one,

    + how do do a system restore?

    Start - Programs - accessories - system tools - System restore.

     

    Select a date when it was working fine

    ^ Yep i did.

     

    I think its the damn socket. I will try the wire thingy along with the female double coupler.

     

    Coming to PSN

    What country have you guys selected ?

    There will be times when i would like to buy one or two games and other stuff so which one should i pick ?

    Pick Singapore/HK for buying stuff and US for normal account.

     

    Try connecting pS3 to Tv to check if it is working properly(Sound)

    Guys,

    I can't get the sound to work on the PS3. Do i need another cable for the enabling sound ?

     

    I am using Sony's cable [ Red, Yellow and White ]

     

    I have this socket where i inserted the Red and White cable in it and then i connected the socket to the line -in of my comp. I have done everything but yet i cant get any sound. I have even selected the sound option thingy on the PS3

    Did you choose SCART output in audio settings...

    Sony LCD's dont have the DVI connector. Wrong!!

     

    32" V Series does have DVI input for connecting laptop or desktop. Dont know about the other models though.

    Wow even i dint know that...your TV got one? send me the model number if it has...

    HDMI-DVI Cable + PS3 40GB

     

    I am totally out of money now though but i <333 my parents :D

     

    and i plan to open the box tomorrow, too tired after the party and yes FFS exams are over..w00t!!!

     

    P.S - can someone plz lend me some games, i will pay for the shipping both sides :thumbsup:

    sajid: im no expert but i have my 360 connected to my LCD monitor via VGA and PS3 connected to the same monitor via HDMI and the difference in negligible IMO

    Well i want to connect my PC to my LCD TV i know DVI to HDMI is the best but my comp has only a VGA out i dont want to do any serious gaming on my computer just browsing and HD videos etc maybe.. i have a P4 Machine i think ASUA motherboard which works fine for my Red Alert 2 Yuri Revenge online gaming now im a noob at all this so VGA to LCD connection i think LCD have a vga connection for PC if im not wrong... how will the quality be i dont want to spend extra monies for a grafics card for dvi port plus im not even sure if my motherboard will accept a grafics card...

    Use VGA-DVI convertor 100 bucks or so....

     

    So you saying VGA (Computer) to DVI(LCD TV) does my TV has DVI connection im not sure Sony Bravia D-Series 32inch also what about quality on this setup will it be good...

    Connect DVI-VGA Convertor to Vga Port on your computer and then the DVI side of the cable come connects there and HDMI side to you tv.

     

    For some funny reason my internet connection is playing up.
