Here are some brilliant tips to spend your time while wifey is shopping,

BTW, Saw this movie "Devil's Double" on Netflix. This movie is based on some true incidents inspired from the life of Saddam Hussain's son's doppleganger Latif Yahia. This is one of those movies which makes you google the story of characters involved after it ends. The performance of the main protagonist is terrific (Double role and yet you feel like they are two different people) Its an insight to what it was like in Iraq at that time, something I had no real knowledge of and am certainly stunned by. Go watch. You might like it.

Decent movie with a stupid a*s ending..
Dhanush was very good...The first half of the movie has good comedy...
2nd half becomes serious and the ending is not so good..
Decent 1 time watch..
Don't think I can drag my hubby to a Sonam Kapoor movie.. download karna padega.

Being dragged to watch Ghanchakkar by the wifey and neighbors.
Wish me luck that I may see the sun rise again on a new day, play Dark Souls again and get to run my fingers over the Xone and PS4.
As it turns out, Ghanchakkar is a pretty entertaining comedy. Hain???

Dharamshala is very close to Mcloedganj. If you like Buddhist Monastry, and quaint place, with scenic beauty and some small hippie cafe' this is the place. There are many local bands or tourists (mostly firangs ) who perform gigs in these cafes.. I haven't been there, but my brother is stationed in Dharamashala for over a month now, so I know.
Also, if one wants to go for Vipassana, there is a Pagoda in Dharamshala for the same.

For Rafting : I am told Rishikesh is the best. Kullu rafting is challenging a bit later in the year around June-July when the ice melts and river currents become stronger. For now, it was nice and easy for us beginners.
In Shimla we stayed at Hotel Woodville Palace , which is a heritage property. We loved the place for it's scenic serene beauty , privacy, great food and nice staff. Do not expect any 4,5 star extravaganza there..it's just like living in an old mansion, not a big happening hotel.
At Manali, we stayed in Holiday Inn (said to be the best and most expensive property in Manali) , but it didn't have even the basics like 24 hours hot water! Place is all fart no sh*t, away from old manali, poorly maintained room but ya.. good food. You may just stay in manali for one night and move to Dharamshala or Mcloadganj for the rest of the days. More peaceful, scenic, less commercial.
Paragliding at Solang Valley was fun!!

Hadda blast. Did Rafting, Paragliding, Slipped on Snow, Overall great holiday.
BTW, Manali has become horribly commercial.. Beware!

Lol Nemo. I have stopped posting in this thread as it has gone all over the place. Anyway, will share the recent news. I found a great girl last week. I saw her crazily drunk at a friend's party and was making out with her. The best thing was that she wasn't keen on talking at all. There was music on and we just started dancing and one thing led to another. It felt a bit weird for me as she was probably the first girl who did not even do any small talk. I just casually asked her name and she gave a one word reply. Didn't even ask my name. A true angel. Hope our paths cross again sometime.
Also Nemo: you removed me from your Facebook ?

Yup.. I guess that's what we shall do. I remember going in that mini train in my childhood days..was fun then. Wanted to relive it, but realized it's going to be super crowded and tiring now. If we are doing Himachal, will fly Delhi-Chandigarh or else, will do Delhi -Srinagar and onwards.
