has any 1 ever been to a cruise? i wanted to go on 1 for a long time, have managed to convince my gf to come along, but have no idea about it. cruise budget is around 60K per person ( just for the cruise) , i am considering the Malaysia - Bangkok route. if any 1 has any experience or tips plz share.......am a cruise noob

Yeah.. Once this friend of mine.. after he had too much to drink.. really cried so much .. and we were all in a mood to party, while this guy was just crying and ranting about how this girl didnt accept his gift.. Quite a scene.
Tough situation, as you dont know what to do, what to say.. if he is not someone close to you.
But it happens. Blame it on booze.

Speaking of broken hearts, this is as funny as it gets..
I had been to this conference. It was a 3 day thing and I was sharing my room with the National Sales head of the particular brand. Nice sharp guy, late thirties. Good guy overall. And then there was the obligatory cocktail party and this guy obviously had a bit too much. Late into the night at around 4 early morning, I hear sobs.. This guy is on the phone and is saying "preeti main tera bina nahi jee sakta "and he was crying in the balcony of the room. Morning when he woke he had like really really swollen eyes and I pretented that I did not hear him crying.
It was kinda funny as this guy is major name in the industry that I work in and it would really amuse people to know stuff like this.

Saw one episode of Oh My Gold! (OMG) on TLC.
The show was about gold jewellery and the place they showed that episode was : Chennai.
I was fascinated about the fact that these Tams dip in Gold when they attend weddings. Men & women. They also showed Gold Temple (Where I have been!!) and the Showeroom with Gold Ornaments. Some awesome Temple Gold Designs and work..
Totally wow episode. I am not fond of jewellery but those designs tempted the woman in me..
Beware guys, if your wife is watching..You might have to get them out for some gold-shopping!!
Besides, Lisa Ray was such a lively host. Nice Show.

I really think that you are dealing with this relationship in a mature way. The girl in my opinion, likes you already as a close Guy-Friend. She is upset, confused and obviously care about her grades and studies at this time, so the cold behavior.
Proposing for the heck of it, to start dating may not be a good idea. One needs to know the real relationship is not a Six Sigma Process, that one has to propose and then date and then upgrade to the relationship level. Or there is no process like first handshake then hug then kiss and then.. It doesn't have to be that way.
If I was that girl, on that day, I would have liked my guy friend to hear me out, console me, tell me that it will get ok, show me solutions of getting better grades, go through the books with me, hug me and may be cheer me up with some silly naughty tactics. And in the end, just surprise me by asking, since you are in a terrible mood, go dress up, I am taking you out tonight. As simple as that. End the evening with a " You know you will do really well, I donno if I told you this before, but i find you really intelligent and independent. Just have faith ok? " and a hug with may be a kiss on the forehead..
Trust me, a compliment on a girl's confidence, her intelligence and her personality will give you more brownie points and trust than the cliche' compliments like, Oh lovely eyes, you smell good that any pretty girl must have heard a dozen time already.
