Just caught the first episode of "Reaper". Quite intriguing. Now off to grab the rest of the first season.
I recommend it for those of you who are into the horror / superhero thing with a healthy dose of humour.

^^ 100% true. Windows Mobile blows every other platform outta the water when it comes to third party apps and support.

From personal experience I can testify that Windows Mobile phones display below average signal strength and call performance. This is the only reason I am inclined towards the E90 and iPhone. Otherwise it would have been the Tytn II for me too.

been using the tytn ii for a few days now - pretty solid wm6 phone (no other phone has better specs... for now). adjusting to the fact that it's a PDAphone (not a smartphone) BUT even then it's a all-round device that i'd happily carry in my pocket (it weighs 190gms!).

How much did it run you for? I'm getting a new phone next weekend. Trying to decide between the Nokia E90 and the Apple iPhone.
32k + 4gb mem card (2500) + screen guard (400) - yes, it's a lil steep, but it *can* replace the need to carry along a laptop...

The price is good. I got my K-Jam a couple of years back with a 2GB card for about INR 32K. So, its par for Windows Mobile phones.
But I'm seriously digging the Nokia E90, even more so since signal quality is of prime importance to me.

^^ I'm sure that wasn't the reason. They charged me the full amount. Its just the customs invoice that listed the price at 20GBP.

^^ People weren't willing to tolerate a delay in Bioshock and literally ruined MA's month. I shudder to think of the uproar that a GTA IV delay will cause.

Funnily enough, they did it for my Bioshock Collector's Edition order without even my asking them to. Invoiced it for 20GBP only.

Depends on your luck. You can ask GAME to underinvoice the shipment.

There could be a slight delay in the game's release in India as was evidenced by Bioshock. (Please direct your hate at Take 2).
I'm playing it safe and am pre-ordering the Special Edition from GAME. So it should reach me within a week of official release.

Brands dont matter since HDMI is digital. As long as the cable isn't broken it will be fine. Order one from PlayAsia. It costs about US$10 there.

The movie is good because of its special effects and because the Transformers look and feel like giant robots. Also, the half decent storyline adaption did help along with the "human" touch of Bumblebee. When I saw the flick in the theatre, I swear people were clapping and cheering when Megan Fox strapped Bumblebee to the back of the tow truck and reversed into the fight.
This flick is a keeper IMO and certainly one of Michale Bay's finest works (not saying much, I know, but hey, I actually liked "The Island").

^^ To be honest, I liked the 2007 version of Megatron. The facial features suited his evil disposition a lot better than the cartoon version.

Just watched the old classic "Bullit" starring Steve McQueen.
What an amazing movie. No frills, no background music, just stoic performances. And the car chase sequence and on-foot chase at the airport are absolutely fantastic. Even more so when you realize thatMcQueen did all the stunts himself. :shock3:
All in all, a welcome escape back to the days of classic Hollywood movie making (even if the director was British).

^^ Difference only in Gameplay....and maybe the new co-op and MP. In terms of gfx/animation, I'm not having any high hopes ! I won't be surprised if Saints Row 2 has better gfx than GTA 4 !
Not to forget that Mafia II is already looking better than GTA IV

Very tasty screenies. But it still looks like a spiffied up version of Saints Row with a wider colour palette.
Now you can go on about how GTA is not about the gfx, and I sure as hell am not gonna let substandard textures keep me apart from this instalment, but the fact remains that the game is behind the curve in character modelling and texture work. I can only keep my fingers crossed that the animation has improved drastically over the previous versions of the game.
