    Looks like its would be worth reacquiring the Spidey Trilogy on Blu Ray. Anyone wanna buy my DVD set of three ?

     

    Believe me, it is. I have Spider man 2 & 3 on dvd. Yet I acquired this trilogy on blu-ray. You might want to look out for the region locking as this is a sony release.

     

     

    I am bent on buying a Region 1 PS3, so I will purchase BR discs accordingly.

    Firstly, the fact that they are not providing a modem does not necessarily mean you will need to use their web-based dialer.

     

    One solution for you would be to install a network router at home and hook up your PC and your Xbox to the router. The TATA internet conn will plug into your router and will distribute internet access among all connected devices. The router will have a configuration option for PPPoE where you can input your username and password and the router will do automatic logins for you whenever you switch it on. This is the way my current setup at home works.

     

    The other option is to allow the Tata conn to plug into your PC directly and connect your Xbox to the PC. Every time you want to play online, you will have to switch on the PC, use the web-based dialer and connect to the net, switch on the Xbox and play online. As long as the PC is on, you will be able to connect to Xbox Live.

    well Airtel ppl do not provide brodband connection in mulund, i guess they still havent reached here

    i did not know abt tatas ADSL service till now, it seems very lucrative i guess i will go for it now.........which plan should i get?

    no point in waiting for 1 month for MTNL conection.

     

    should i go for ADSL brodband or normal brodband? i am willing to shell out arnd 1200 buks per month for high speed plan ........i dont have any clue abt tata indicoms conectivity and speed so plz help me, btw what does this ( 1 : 4 ratio indicates in thier speed section?

     

     

    1:4 is the ratio of download speed to upload speed. If you go for a 512Kbps plan on a 1:4 ratio, your download speed will theoretically be 512Kbps while your upload speed will be 1/4th of 512K i.e 128Kbps.

     

    I recommend Tata Indicom's normal broadband 512Kbps unlimited plan. I use it myself and is excellent for online gaming because it has good upload bandwidth (an important factor in gaming). it costs INR 1850/- a month + service tax.

    Completely avoid Reliance Wi-Max. Even if the speeds are good and the connection stays up, the latency will kill your online gaming experience.

     

    Opt for Triband or Tata Indicom. Both these providers are the best in Mumbai for online gaming.

    Tata unveils Rs one lakh car, calls it Nano

     

    Tata Motors today unveiled its people's car, Nano, that meets Euro 4 emission and safety norms.

     

    The car, popularly called the Rs one lakh car, will cost Rs 100,000 at the dealer end but would attract VAT and

    transportation cost.

     

    "Since we started the project four years back, there has been a steep increase in input cost, but a promise is a promise," Tata Group chief Ratan Tata said after unveiling the car - his pet project.

    gud news--won the 64mb memory card in GOTY awards

     

    WORST NEWS--no clue of my replacement console yet.... its been 24 hrs since redington called me up........DAMN!!.........y cant things in india move faster??!!!!!

     

    missin cod4 mp action biggggg time!! :thumbsup:

     

     

    Yeah you are missing some gr8 CoD4 action. Been having hours of fragfest every night for the past week. And plenty of desis.

     

    i wanted some consolation ;)
