^^ Yeah, there's been a lot of anguish about the HOX's Wifi being weak.
I have 2 HOXs and I dont find anything wrong with the WiFi on either of them.

^^ True, but CF has occasional set of problems with certain games including incompatibilities with certain updated versions of games and crashes. But from my experience with CF on the SGS2 and Note, it ran beautifully when it worked.

Let me clarify, Chainfire3D will make those Tegra 3 THD versions of the game run on S3 and similar phones, like it did with GS2 Exynos. Like this:And I bet once that Chainfire 3D is released, the S3 will play the games better than One X.
Using CF, possibly, but certainly not by default.

To some extent but you'll need a custom EQ to get the sound to your liking.

You are as ignorant as you are blase. What Tegra 3 THD versions of games give you are effects that cannot be found in other versions of the same game. Take Shadowgun THD as an example. It has enhanced water, physics, explosions, etc. on Tegra 3 devices that is not available in the non THD version of the game. In fact, the extra effects are not available even on the iOS version of the game (check the first review on the iTunes page of the iPad version of the game for confirmation).

What about Beats audio? Does it give you that extra effect with normal headphones too or is it just for the phone speakers?
Absolutely. It's a major improvement for certain types of music like Rock, Hip Hop, Dance and others. However, the Beats effects can be replicated using the custom equalizer in some of the best Android music apps like PlayerPro.

I would say its a close call between the HOX and S3 with the S3 ahead on power and battery life and the HOX ahead on build quality and screen. However, if gaming is a frequent activity on your phone, definitely go for the HOX.

MT, is MAC address overwrite involved? If yes, then afterwards can DS3 be used with PS3 again without any issues?
Yes it does but its no problem at all. Just connect the DS3 to your PS3 with the cable and it resets to the PS3.
Edit: This arrived today. I'll try it out later and let you chaps know how it goes.

Max Payne on my HOX with the DualShock3 using the Sixaxis Controller app is a thing of beauty. Just enable native gamepad emulation in Sixaxis Controller and you are good to go. Everything just works (although I am yet to figure out how to change weapons and zoom in when using the sniper rifle).
Also, I;ve turned up the resolution and detail level to the maximum in the game's settings and it runs smooth as silk. Also looks pretty decent (if quite jaggy) on my TV running at 1080p through the MHL HDMI cable.

Givenn where the exchange rates are today, that's a pretty good price. Cheaper than the UK GBP price when converted into INR.

Watched Prometheus in IMAX 3D last night.
Best use of 3D since Avatar.
They also showed an extended preview of The Amazing Spiderman in Imax 3D before the movie. It looks really, really good.

hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the reason barbs are f**ked at higher levels are because they are melee and not because they have some problems with abilities. and guess what, your monk is going to have the same problems as a barb does. ranged classes like dh and wiz have it slightly better because they can do damage from range and kite a little bit before getting killed in one hit. melee have to be in close range to do damage and they can't survive the incoming damage in inferno. you're level 21 right now, so you must be in act 2. you know those yellow-green wasps that fly around in the first area and fire straight lines of 4 tiny insects at you? in inferno, each of those tiny insects hits for 30,000 damage. those tiny things can kill me in 1 hit.

The Monk has a semi-ranged, wide angle attack that goes a long way towards kiting. It's certainly better than anything the Barb has in similar vein. The Monk also has a high Dodge rating and dexterity meaning a better chance to avoid incoming hits.
I havent played Hell or Inferno, so I cant claim to know how bad things get, but from what I have read, the Monk appears to be a better choice than the Barb for the higher difficulty levels.

Is anyone here using hte S3? Whats your take on it? Worth spending 38k on it if one has the S2?
Not at the moment. Wait a while for software and community support to catch up and then upgrade (hopefully at a much cheaper price)

The dialog in this game is beyond annoying. So much of it is in Portuguese and those retards used the same language for the subtitles. They could have at least provided English subtitles.

Have not used onex camera but s3 did click some brilliant pics in daylight...hox might be better if you say but i would say if it is, then probably just marginally better.
I have used the S3 so I cant definitively say whether it's better or not but going by pure specs the HOX's camera should offer some distinct advantages. It's got an aperture of f/2.0 compared to the standard f/2.6 on the S3, so the HOX should hold an advantage in less than well lit scenes. Plus, the HOX's camera interface appears to be far superior to that of the S3. However, I think the S3 will produce slightly better looking pics in sunny, outdoor conditions.
I use my phone's camera extensively in all kinds of situations and I can definitely testify to the fact that the HOX's low to medium light performance (nightclub, sunsets, shaded areas, etc.) is far superior to that of my Galaxy Note as well as my girlfriend's S2 thanks to the better aperture and faster shutter speed.
