Lol i hate gaming on touchscreen .
The situation will improve with ICS which supports the USB host function for physical controllers.
For now, I have hooked up my PS3 controller to my phone using the 'SIXAXIS Controller' app. Perfect for using emulators. I am rediscovering the joy of Mario Kart on the SNES.

There's a new Exynos chip that Samsung is targeting to begin selling in the middle of next year. Dual CPU + Dual GPU, clocked at 2 GHz.

Not exactly. The model number of the Note is GT - N7000. Some databases also list the Note as the i9220. This is incorrect. The i9220 actually a 1280x720 screen model with a 1.5 GHz processor headed for the US and is not released yet.

Btw, while we are at this, anyone else wifi issue on their S2. My router is in the next room but I get barely 1 bar. IPhone and lappy both get 2-3.
But at my native, its 3-4 bars even while being on the rooftop, so I figured that s2 is prolly allergic to certain router setups.
One of the early buyers reported this to Samsung and he received a reply that its being fixed in future fws. Now since I am stuck with 2.3.3 from tje begining, I don't know if they did in 2.3.4/5. Hows G doing in that area?
My GSII works fine on my Billion router at home and the Linksys and Netgear routers at work.

I dunno about tints and hues but my SGS2 has no such issues.

they were about the small difference in gaming graphics capability.It doesn't matter actually. the current crop of games do not exhibit any differences on the two chipsets. Its only Chainfire 3D where the lack of the highest AA setting makes the difference relevant.

So with you guys with OMAP versions of the S2, what's your primary concern - the GPU being slightly gimped for gaming compared to the Mali, or is it the lack of custom ROMs that worries you more?
Stop trolling the poor chaps. As it is, they dont have gardeners.

Is one-handed usage possible? And how's the ROM-making community on XDA?
It is if you have large hands. I find it just about possible to operate with one hand.
There are some modified ROMS up on XDA but I woudn't expect much. Its a niche product.

So basically you have GPU from SGS. Duh.
The specs of the 9100G are very similar to the Galaxy Nexus (apart from the screen resolution). I think it'll get ICS ports before the Exynos powered 9100.
