None of the old Govinda movie had that kind of crap. Even if they had, that was very minor part. The thing you are talking about is Priyadarshan speciality, where people go batshit insane and behave like idiots. Hungama ending, Welcome car chase and ending, Govinda Akshay Kumar movie ending over that clock tower, or that ridiculously stupid circus scene in phir Hera pheri. All these scenes are pathetic and cheap slapstick comedy. Charlie Chaplin did it better.

Agreed. You need to have a good sense of humour and be a generally fun loving person to enjoy these movies though. Scrooge mcgrudges might find them bland.

I turned off Dune after 10 minutes. Maybe if I sit through it, I might like it.

Ya A half decent Batman would have done way better

I was expecting basic common sense from someone who became Batman. Like being stealthy, not going head on in a barrage of bullets etc. He seems to be a superman fanboy and wants to fight like him.

I still can't get over the fact that Batman will wear bulletproof armour, and not cover his chin, and will go full kamikaze in front of a stream of bullets, multiple times in the movie. Probably he is wearing some lucky charm that makes the thugs go crazy and they always miss his face. It was probably a homage to Batman 1989 and that movie's stupidity.

I think you will like it. It's like a comic book coming to life. Just that it pretends to be a clever movie but is actually stupid. And Batman is a non stealthy noob who gets shot more than all Batman movies combined. Cinematography, acting, ost are damn good. Loads of comic books Easter eggs and name drops.
