    Ok hold on. Let me break down something for you. You are under the perception trophies = big club. You couldnt be more wrong. Infact, judging by your post you are under the assumption that all arsenal stars will leave the club because they consistently finish 2nd or 3rd and get to the quarters stage of UCL regularly. You couldnt be more wrong. Compare Arsenal to the other 'big' clubs across Europe and they have performed significantly and consistently better.

     

    Your again totally unaware of the age game and how it impacts foreign/English players. Let me break it down to you, again. Players like Nasri, Fabregas, Flamini, Ronaldo, Hernandez, Vidic etc grew up watching clubs like AC Milan, Barca, Real Madrid run riot. They would have always loved those clubs and aspired to go to them, irrespective of the club they play for. The EPL did not gain prominence across Europe or the World till around 1996-97, by the time which all these players were already plying their professional trade or deep into their youth development. They wouldnt change allegiances. The English players were obviously more attached to the EPL and English FA League, growing up, that they'd have allegiances to clubs in the same country. Thats why you dont see too much movement from them. The current gen of players coming up(Wilshere, Miyachi, Cruz, Mchecheran) have all been brought up in a time where they would have made allegiances to clubs in the EPL also, when it gained prominence, hence they would be more attached to the English leagues.

     

     

    Absolute tripe. The English league and English clubs have always been a dominant force in Europe. Clubs like Nott. Forest, Liverpool and Aston Villa dominated the UCL stage winning the cup 6 years in a row and 7 times in 8 years between them in the late seventies and early eighties. Barcelona have won the UCL only once before 2005 and most of Real Madrid's dominance was in the 50's and 60's under the dictatorship of General Franco. Barcelona grew into the world beaters they are only after 2005. They gained super stardom only in the early nineties under Johan Cryuff when he assembled stars like Romario, Koeman, Laudrup and Stoichov. The reason why players from Latin countries like Brazil, Argentina and Portugal prefer Spanish teams is due to the weather and culture. They find it easier to adapt to Spain than any other country, be it Italy, England or Germany. Just because you didn't follow the English league before 96-97 doesn't mean that they weren't prominent before that.

     

    Whereas players from other European countries like France preferred to move either stay in France or move to English or Italian clubs. Most of the French Internationals between 90's and 2000 played in French, Italian or English clubs. So do some research next time before talking gobshite.

     

    Now my point basically is this. You make it sound like players like RvP want a move(RvP has been a childhood gunners fan and has never even once come and said anything about wanting out or the club should win trophies etc. Your clearly speaking out of your backside and Im sadly even trying to respond to your ignorance) out of the club for trophies. Wont happen. Nasri doesnt want a move out for trophies, neither does Bendtner, neither does Cesc. Infact, there is no player, other than Denilson, who comes to mind who has moved out of the club for trophies. Its again a notion created by the media and people like yourself who think start all and end all is trophies.

     

    Stop being so delusional. Do you really think that any player would come out say that they want a move away because their current club isn't winning anything? Lack of success is a factor that affects any player's decision about this future. Just because he didn't outright declare it doesn't mean he's happy with winning zilch in his career. And if you actually read my post before, you'd have noticed that it does not apply to every player. There may be some players who genuinely love the club and would stay with the club through thick and thin. Van Persie might be one of them but these type of players are few and far between.

     

    Do you think Vidic would have stayed had Man Utd not offered him a huge contract to dissuade a move from Madrid? Nope. Rooney wanted to move to Man City, got a massive contract, stayed. Ronaldo had a massive contract offered, rejected and wanted to a move to Real Madrid despite MAn Utd having won a UCL and EPL. Basically, not everyone wants to play for Man Utd, not even their own players. Money talks in the end. And unlike Man Utd, Arsenal are showing they dont want to be held ransom by players to high wages. The difference in the financial structures is evident of so many things, all this despite Man Utd having won many more trophies than Arsenal. It is people like yourself and the media that blindly create a hype and notion that Man Utd are the most preferred destination without really knowing the facts. Man Utd will never EVER match clubs like Madrid, Barca or AC Milan. Neither will Arsenal, but a lot of Man Utd fans are deluded to think their club is bigger than the real behemoths of football.

     

    Do I think the likes of Vidic, Evra, Rooney and Nani would have stayed with us had we not been successful? Nope. Money isn't everything for a player. Bayern pay some of the highest wages in Europe due to the lax wage structure in Germany. But how many superstars do you see moving to Bayern these days? Where did I ever exude the notion that Man Utd are the biggest club in the world? The only time I mentioned United in our debate was when I was commenting about the rumours linking Nasri to us. Apart from that, where did I mention that Man Utd are THE preferred destination for players? Go on, quote me, I dare you. You're just conjuring nonsense from thin air to stay in the debate. Pathetic really.

     

     

    Another thing is that since you've not understood the above, you clearly wouldnt have understood what Im going to say. You will ask this question - "If thats the case why do you and so many arsenal fans wants Arsene Wenger out?" The answer is what I and other arsenal fans have already said a million times before. Arsenal have always fallen just short of a trophy. Its due to some factors that most of the well read supporters highlight right at the start of the season, which is not addressed. Since an obvious issue is not addressed and that is the reason for the failure to win trophies, gunner fans have got frustrated with the gaffer. Thats why they want his sacking.

     

    Basically, you can apply of the above to Nasri.

     

    I have no interest in your manager's future and I never mentioned him or his ways. Why're you bringing him up?

    You said stars. Unless your implying Nasri isnt a star for arsenal, which would make all your points of Nasri being amongst our best players void. Or it could be this. Only 1 player has come out and said he wants to leave the club for trophies and thats Denilson. Noone else has really complained about lack of trophies, not even Cesc. So if your implying Denilson is part of your "stars" then Id just really skip past all the writing and ignore your posts. Or it could be that your not well read on the situation and just decide to type what comes into your head.

     

    Secondly, we know what his intentions are. He wants a huge contract, which he doesnt deserve, its his last year of contract and he had a good season so he wants to use that to his advantage. Yes, he holds the upper hand now, but most people forget in the end that the club is always bigger than the player and thats the first thing I stated when this topic came up. This is not just with arsenal and Nasri or Cesc, but with Man Utd and Rooney or any other club with whoever their player is.

     

    And yes, Nasri is still an excellent player regardless of whether he signs or not. It will be a huge dent for us, but nothing we cannot recover from. This is the 4th time Im saying this. Cmon, read my posts!

     

    Again, I wasn't implying any single player but all the players in general. Let me break it down for you. Footballers have a very short career span of about 10-15 years. They have a limited amount of time to win trophies and achieve something worthwhile in their profession. Players like Nasri, Fabregas, Van Persie etc may feel like they would require a move away from the club if they are to win trophies and progress their career further. Now this isn't just isolated to Arsenal, it happens to most clubs. Berbatov left Spurs for Champions league football and league success, Ashley Young wants to move to a bigger club for trophies, Mascherano left liverpool... Players move to 'bigger' clubs for want of trophies, big money or both. Now there are players who set personal ambitions aside and stay loyal to the club, players like Totti for example. But they are the exception, not the rule.

     

    I am implying that had Arsenal won a few league titles or a champions league trophy, at least some of the players might be less keen on a move away. The youngsters would stay at your club because their main intention is to develop into good footballers by getting first team opportunities. But for the bigger players, the clock is ticking and they'd want to move to a more successful club (not saying Arsenal doesn't have a chance of winning trophies). Nasri's current contract issues may money related but if a club like Barcelona came calling, he wouldn't think twice about joining them even if they offered the same wage as Arsenal.

    Ok, wait. Everyone here is under the notion Nasri wants to move for trophies. Its wrong. Maybe you guys should read saying "Nasri wants to match Cesc on wages". He wants more money, not trophies. He hasnt earned it just yet. He was one of our best players this season, yes, does that mean he immediately gets a pay rise to match the best player on the team? No chance. He wasnt even our best player. Wilshere was.

     

    Where did I ever specifically mention that Nasri is moving for trophies? I was speaking in general about your players.

     

    Secondly, we can't know for sure what Nasri's intentions are. The contract talks might have stalled due to financial disagreements but the lack of trophies might be a reason why he isn't keen on extending his contract. He knows that he holds all the cards. He has only one year left in his contract, either Arsene would have to concede or sell to him another club where he is more likely to earn better pay or risk losing him on a free next season. Its a win-win situation for him. Its sad to see player having such power over their clubs, we had a similar situation with Rooney not too long ago.

     

    Nasri was your best player the first half of last season although his form dipped after January. But he is still one of your best player and your best wide midfielder.

    Edit : And Shneider is absolutely right. Wenger will do everything in his power to sell Nasri now, if he doesnt sign, and everything in his power to make sure it isnt Man United.

    Lol @ Arsenal fans playing down nasri now that he wants to move. He's clearly one of Arsenal's best player along with Cesc and Van Persie (who's never fit for an extended period of time).

     

    Selling Nasri to United would be a double blow. Arsenal would weaken themselves while strengthening their rivals. Wenger does have some exciting young talent capable of replacing him though, but by the time they mature into world class players they'd leave Arsenal for more trophies/money. :console:

    It depends on how you want to play. If hack n slash is your thing, go for a Nord/red guard warrior. For casting spells, high elf+mage, sneaking and stealing stuff khajiit + thief.

     

    I've heard the devs say that this is one of the aspects they're improving in Skyrim. In Oblivion, how you get out of the dungeon dictates how you should play for the rest of the game. You could try things that are out of your skill set but you end up being a jack of all trades and master of none.

    I'm using a Reliance connection. While their plans are pretty good, their customer service and network stability leaves a lot to be desired. I get downtime at least once every 2-3 days and there's nothing the customer service would do about it. Sometimes they send a technician to my home to check the connection, but by the time he reaches the network would just sort itself out.

     

    The login thingy is also a big pain in the a*s. Each time you use a different device to connect to the internet, you get automatically logged out and would have to log in again. I borrowed my friend's xbox but I couldn't connect it to the internet because unlike the PS3, the xbox doesn't have a web browser where you could visit their website and login.

    Well he really carried The Rock at WM because of the crowd. Hogan was the heel and Rock was face, but still the crowd booed the sh*t out of The Rock that night.

    Hogan had to low blow The Rock and do some real heel stuff, still the crowd got behind him. Just see the reaction when the Rock won that match, he was booed the hell out. That crowd was f**king crazy, still nothing compared to ECW One Night Stand crowd, who just pwned the WWE wrestlers after the merger.

     

    That in turn inspired the heel change of the Rock. Heel Rock dished out some of the best promos the WWE has ever seen.

    Just finished watching Wrestlemania. The Taker-Triple H match was good, pity they had to end with a botched triangle choke.

     

    Sin Cara is going to be awesome. I youtube'd some of his moves, his finisher is pretty sick.

    WOW!...thats nice...ah my cable wala is idiot...wont do all that...my bro was saying Tata sky lagata hai...i only told him this is cheaper and all and not worth going for tata sky .....what a stupid move :wallbash:

     

    I have Airtel DTH btw. Doesn't matter which connection you have as long as you get Star Sports HD. Ordinary cable operators wont subscribe to it because the channel is costly (100+tax/month). But since DTH services allows you to choose the channels you want, individual cost of channels wont be a problem. :)

    WOW!this is new ...i use to think TATA sky will also show same advertisement and all ...like we normal cable guys get...coz we all get same broadcasting from ESPSN STAR right??...only difference is Tata sky hd would be more clear and all...how come no advertisement for TATA sky walas?? :huh:

     

    The match is broadcasted on a different channel, Star sports HD. They don't have any ads or pre match/post match shows. I guess non DTH subscribers can also get the channel if your cable operator provides it.

    This was the sole reason I shelled 4000 for a Tata Sky HD connection. Just cannot stand these adds as soon as the wicket falls or an over ends and the coverage only starts when the bowler is in his delivery stride. Thankfully watched the whole World Cup without any ads and have even recorded a few full games (including last night's) and all Tendulkars innings (never sure which one would be his last). And the commentory in between wickets or overs is also interesting where they talk strategy, alas not all can watch or listen to this. This is extremely shameful, even Steve Waugh complained over the Indian coverage in the last World Cup, he gave the example of young kids not able to listen to the commentory and learn the basics of cricket from the gurus.

    People with a DTH connection, don't think too much. Pay whatever it takes (Rs. 50-100max) to get ESPN HD and enjoy the game in HD without a single ad. They show all the useful stats and discuss match tactics while the ads are on.
