Mah boi Mimic tear+10 casually soloing a boss while I chill on the side. I took out the mobs on the side while he focused on the boss.

Lake of Rot!!!! Of course they make you fight a boss in that! As if scarlet rot alone didn't do enough damage

Yeah that was an annoying fight. He drops 90k runes though. More than even Radahn I believe. Crystallians are strong against slash and pierce damage. You need blunt weapons against them. Generally, increasing the number of enemies is always guaranteed to be a bad time. I've had more trouble with a pack of dogs than some bosses. My most annoying opponent so far has been that a**hole mage at the Divine tower of Liurnia. I lost souls both times when I faced her with the tower in normal and inverted orientation. First time was sort of early game where I was exploring things and didn't have the artifact to invert the tower. Lost about 15k runes which was a lot at that time. When I got the artefact later, I had to face her again and I lost about 40k runes. She isn't that difficult on her own. She just has a mobs that bum rush you like the creepy spider hands while she spams spells from range. And she teleports away when you get in range to hit her.

It depends on what build and weapons you want to use. The more dex you have, the more damage you get from dex scaling weapons. Strength is only good for strength scaling weapons. On top of weapon scaling, dex also reduces your cast time for spells, reduces fall damage and reduces the chance to get knocked down from your horse.

The first half of Volcano Manor reminded me of Bloodborne. Reached Rykard, but I'm waiting for the completion of a few NPC quests before killing him. Just a PSA, the volcano manor questline can no longer be completed if you kill Rykard.

Nice! I can now finally play this game. Was an impulse buy during a sale without checking anything. Found out that it was running at 1080p30 and hadn't touched it since.

None of the gameplay trailers have impressed. Looks like Infamous 3, but developed by a studio much less capable than Sucker Punch.

An excuse to jump back into Returnal. Hype!

Used a larval tear to respec into a magic/faith build. Cosplaying as a Carian Knight with the full Carian knight armor set, carian shield and sword of night and flames. The night and flame skillset of the sword is pretty insane. Now I have access to magic and faith spells for bosses and tough enemies while still having the sword and shield melee option for basic mobs. Its a very versatile build that gives you a lot of options in combat.

Holy sh*t! Finally managed to kill Radhan after an hour or so of epic fights. What an amazing boss.

Easiest boss award goes to.... That was my first try. Did not even get to see his moves.

When I use it, I see a ton of player summon signs on the ground. Check your NAT settings. Make sure its not NAT 3
-
Strange. Use it near the boss area. There should be gold summon signs appearing on the ground.
-
Go to multiplayer tab in the options menu. There should be a finger item that shows you summon signs of other players. Edit - Its called Furlcalling Finger Remedy

Hardest boss I've faced so far. Although I have a feeling that is going to change, as I'll be facing General Radahn soon.

I don't use a guide per se. I come across a lot of hidden stuff naturally just by browsing reddit or watching youtube videos in my feed. I do use the fextra wiki for NPC quests and such though. There are so many NPC's in this game, it easy to lose track of stuff. Some of the quest lines are so convoluted, its almost impossible to figure out stuff yourself.

Best way to play imo is to go into a region completely blind and explore. The sense of wonder and the fear of unknown while exploring new areas really sets this game apart. Then once you are done with an area, use a guide to see how much you missed. I am always amazed by just how much stuff is hidden in this game.

Yes, there is no cap. You can also use a PVP item to summon other players as well.

Look at the statue closely. If there’s already a key on one of its heads, you need one. Else two.

What sort of end game build are you guys going for? The bloodhounds fang has served me well so far. Upgraded it to +6 and it can 2-3 hit the mobs I’ve come across in Caelid so far. I am planning on a dual wield katana build with Bloodhound’s step ash of war for a teleporting ninja bleed build. If dual wielding proves too difficult, I’ll fall back to a sword n shield build. Maybe even respec for some end game sorcery builds for ez mode

Oh, that one. Didn't look like a snake to me lol. Yeah its a nice secret area.

The delayed strikes are a constant theme among the enemies. And its not a constant delay either. There's an a**hole is Carian study hall who shoots great soul arrows. She changes the timing of when the arrow leaves the bow each time. Some times she shoots it as soon as the arrow loading animation is done, sometimes she holds the arrow for a second or two before releasing it. Took me a few tries as a melee to take her down because she keeps teleporting away. Lost around 15k souls in the process.

40 hours in and still only around level 50 ish. Have not felt that I'm under level yet. Currently about to enter Nokron. Might have to do some farming seeing as people at lvl 120's is having trouble with end game bosses.
