Renegade FTW I bought the BP as well, but the store is ridiculously expensive still. BTW, do you play solo on ranked?

Its rather kept a secret, I had to evaluate my life choices and went through a mini existential crisis after he disclosed it

IMO buying a publisher/studio as a reaction to the ActiBlizz takeover doesn't make any sense. Sony has its USP studios which churn out GOTY level games almost annually. Sony will probably wait and watch and assess the actual impact of the Bethesda+ActiBlizz takeovers. The biggest money maker is COD and for MS to exclude one of the largest platforms does not make sense. They also need to make their money back after sinking 68 billion, and that makes me think we'll see COD as multi-plat for the foreseeable future. There will be a long incubation period to change the culture, vision, roadmaps at Bethesda and ActiBlizz, until then, I think MS will maintain status quo. Sony can do their due diligence and pick up a studio that suits them once the opportunity presents.

Its a card with the best expense to rewards ratio without a sky high annual fee and a few more additional perks which can go a long way.

Did you get an upgrade from Regalia? If you did, what was your credit limit on it, if you don't mind me asking. I'll be starting a new job next month, thinking of getting a HDFC salary account, currently with ICICI. Will sort the Regalia before that, so the HDFC relation meter starts at the very least.
-
They look at the average monthly balance, there is a way they calculate it. I will never have that high lumpsum in savings accounts, as I only keep 'living expenses' there, everything else goes into investments & emis. I hate the fact that I have to go to the bank to close off a credit card that is expired and not been used since 8 years. Either that or snail mail a letter to them!! Feels so backwards! This card is blocking my upgrade to Regalia, as they are issuing a new card until the old is cancelled. Customer exec suggested to activate the old card and then ask for an upgrade. I'll just be patient once I get the Regalia and slowly builds towards Infinia.
-
In general, you need to have atleast an 8lpa limit on your Regalia, spend approx 10LPA and it helps to have Loans/Insurance/Investments with HDFC. If you have a long standing Savings/Salary account with them, it makes things easier. Overall, since it's an invitation based card, entry criteria seems arbitrary, the gist being, the more spend/save/borrow with HDFC, the higher the chance of getting the invitation.

This is what I found on the internet about the green screen issue: https://nerfgamer.com/facing-green-screen-on-the-ps5-heres-how-you-can-fix-this/ Hope you gets yours fixed soon mate!

Same, I'll pick this up after I tire of Elden Ring. Btw, you picking it up on the PS5 or Xbx? We have a decent amount of people on the PS5 and can help each other out. That way you won't have to rage quit when you can't beat the first boss Will finish off Zero Dawn, and hopefully by then I'll be able to pick up FW on the cheap

Nice! Where do you get your Funko's from?

Demons Souls was built ground up for the PS5 and it added support for Dual Sense and improved the controls. It was definitely not a remaster and felt like a brand new game. Halo Infinite MP is the best one out there at the moment. Haven't played the Campaign, as I'm waiting for them to add co-op. But apart from the Battlepass, Halo MP gameplay is spot on. Had been a long time since I played such a balanced FPS multiplayer game. Didn't the 1st one also have something similar? Or was it just to compete against NPC times? Going to have to finish the first one soon, I think I'm in the last section -take the overdrive somewhere

Wifi 6E is kind of an addendum to Wifi 6 to use the 6GHz bands. RBK852 is wayyy too expensive even to pick up from the US. I'm looking for a solution for when my home will be ready to cover about 2000 sq. ft. The way floor plan is, I think using the RBK753 with 2 satellites should give me a uniform coverage through out the house. As for the LAN ports, I will use a switch to add more. All my wired devices will be in the living room, so just need one 8-port switch for all of them. I am also planning to get another switch to connect Cat6 cables which will run through the walls into each of the rooms. This will also help me get a wired back channel. Will have to check feasibility once the interior work starts.
-
Did you check the RBK 753? Its the Orbi mid-range wifi 6 tri-band. I'm going to try and source this from abroad, will be around 25-26k I am a bit worried about the 40 device limit though. I have many wifi based switches around the house, total count goes well above 50 at the moment.

Feels so weird to not see this thread bump by a few pages everyday. Any of the usual suspects get banned? -
Basically, with tri-band, you can get a dedicated back-channel so your actual wi-fi channels are not bogged down with router-satellite communications

Wishful thinking

I'm looking at the 12/256 S22 U. Hoping for some good discounts and exchange. Shame that India will end up getting the Exynos 2200. I had my hopes up when there were rumours that the Exynos launch will be delayed and S22 series will get the 8 Gens

Damn... can't believe I missed that! Thanks bringing it up, I had already added it to my cart. I'm going to look at getting something from the US. Everything is very overpriced here. You can get a 4-port gigabit switch and connect it to one of the LAN ports on the Orbi to expand your wired ports.

Only 1 SSID is published and it will include 5ghz & 2.4ghz. The router will decide on the band for a device based on the compatibility, distance from satellite etc. They have a similar feature called as 'Smart Connect' on their non-mesh routers. Not very effective with non-mesh ones. This is the description of that setting from the router page: " Enable Smart Connect - Let the router select the best WiFi band for your WiFi connection. With Smart Connect, you must use the same WiFi network name (SSID), security options, and password for all radios for which you enable Smart Connect. One Wireless Network Name (SSID) for 2.4G and both 5G radios I'm looking for a Wifi 6 tri-band mesh system as well, so far only the Orbi RBK50 fits the bill.

It is as simple as wax-on wax-off. Clock-wise and counter-clockwise. Variation with repetition. Use this power wisely young padawan, it can lead to very dark roads I looked at the iRobots which were too expensive. The Deebot T8 was the only one which had the LIDAR+IR for obstacle avoidance in this price range along with the advanced mapping, virtual boundaries, no-mop zone type features and the option to add the motorized mop. A few friends also recommended it and the Republic Day deal was too good to pass.
-
The mopping out of the box nothing to write home about. It will basically drag a wet cloth around multiple times and you can control the 'wetness' of the cloth. It works decent for fresh stains and dried water stains. I had to run it twice on in the kitchen and increase the water flow to the cloth, but it did manage to clean a sticky stain which was pretty dried up. I might go for the 'Ozmo PRO' accessory which has a motorized mop that oscillates later, but as of now, our main focus was the vacuuming as we have 3 cats and the 1 time maid zhadu pocha can sometimes be insufficient, especially if you have people coming over. If you set it up for your parents and do all the room demarcations, no-mop zones (carpets) and virtual boundaries, then its only a matter of pressing a button on the phone app or asking Alexa/Google to start the cleaning. The setup process is a bit cumbersome, and the 1st cleaning session where it will map your home takes time. Also, you need to tidy up a bit before starting the cleaning session, else it will avoid all obstacles like shoes, wires, small toys etc and just go around them.
-
Picked the Deebot T8 up from the Ecovacs website, an extra 5k off from the Amazon price and accessory kit and extended warranty included for a total price of INR34900/-
-
There are ways to DIY it - this is something I was messing about with: Lemme know if you're interested to know how to get it done, will be happy to help. And if you know you're way around electronics, its based off WLED & LEDFX. I'll upload another video soon. The setup is completed and the LEDs are even more responsive. In other news, finally picked up the Deebot T8 during the Republic day sale and got it integrated with my Automation platform: Setup an automation for the bot to run if we both are not at home in the second half of the day. The maid covers the morning ka zhadu pocha. This is only in case we're out with friends and it ends up being a house party at ours.

Something to keep all the WFH-ers like me entertained through drab work days -
If you're already in Apple's ecosystem if great and works flawlessly. Their garden albeit with some tall walls, is beautiful. I'm into heavy customization and I don't like how sometimes Apple patronizes their users with some of their default or hidden settings. Their newer privacy rules and policies are commendable. I really hope Google takes a note from their page and introduces something similar. I'm using AdGaurd, but there's nothing like having your privacy and data protected natively. Hats off to Apple on making that bold move! But I'm too deep into the non-Apple ecosystem and I hate the notch. Slowly my entire family is getting into Samsung devices and I'm hoping with the QD-OLEDs, we can add a Samsung TV into the mix as well for ease of casting etc. Also looking forward to what Fuchsia brings into the mix
