  1. Cool story bro Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  2. I'm not worried about how sustainable the model is or if MS will make or lose money, for me it's a great value proposition. If I get to play AAA games from MS 1st/2nd party studios for 'free' (I've stacked 3 yrs using the xbl gold method) I win, don't really care if MS or Sony do, cos billion and trillion dollar conglomerates don't need a keyboard warrior like me to validate their business models Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  3. 8k is for serious simmers. My wife is a pilot mate, she said having FS would have been a good educational tool during her training as it is a great visual aid. So for people who are aspiring pilots or serious simmers, 8k is worth it. It depends on the demographic and how people perceive the value. You can't generalize it To draw a parallel - i spend ~6k on Fifa every year for the ultimate edition since it gives benefits for FUT, which is the game mode i exclusively play. Someone who only plays career mode may only spend 4k on the standard edition and still enjoy his 'entire experience' Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  4. Most of the airports, planes available on FS Marketplace are not from MS. The ecosystem there is comparable to app stores, MS need to spend effort to ensure quality and content meets the compliances and take a cut from the sales. The marketplace on PC is thriving, and if it slowly gets ported to the consoles, it's a big win for us consumers. And as far as the editions for FS go - it's so casual players who don't want a whole plethora of planes/airports can still have a decent amount without paying for everything. If I'm not mistaken, X-Plane has a similar tiered system to add planes/airports/mods. Serious simmers are interested in different aircrafts and can get them if they want to, at a premium. FS world updates are free updates and they keep enhancing the globe small sections at a time. Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  5. That depends on the studios/publishers - games like RDR2/GTA etc will obviously make tons more money by going retail only. For 1st party studios or smaller ones, its a different case. Smaller studios may prefer getting lumpsum up-front, with first party studios, its based the overall strategy. EA Play Premium/ultimate/top dog (whatever its called) on PC has all their games available on day 1. Also, they don't include microtransactions with the game - Fifa Champions Edition/Deluxe Edition etc - similar to whats offered by GP with Flight Simulator. As for the 'standalone' feature, it is like any other game you get on GP/PS+, base game included but shell out for DLC/Extras. Ghost of Tsushima had some stellar free DLC, but you have to pay-up for the Directors Cut, same for Death Stranding - if Halo Infinite SP has DLCs, it will be the same, I don't find anything surprising or unusual there.
  6. I've played almost all the Halo's until Reach No Halo had a F2P Multiplayer component either, so there is a possibility of Infinite getting a story DLC. Infact, ODST was planned as an expansion but they launched it as a separate disc and bundled the Halo 3 MP with it. But either way, you still get the full story experience of Halo Infinite with GP (if there are no DLCs) and you can play the MP regardless of GP subscription as it is a F2P game.
  7. It may be comparable to Destiny 2 on GP - you get D2 + all the latest expansions. But Season Passes are separate. Destiny base game is F2P, but you need to by the expansions on other platforms (at least on the PS). And SP - base game will be made available but not the DLCs imo.
  8. Its not exactly being locked behind a pay wall, season passes are microtransactions and optional. As for Flight Sim - You get the full game, and have pay extra if you want more planed and airports - personally, apart from the Dreamliner, nothing else on the other editions seem worth the money Similarly for Halo, we can expect the full single player game, multiplayer is free to play anyway. And the battlepass/season pass system for MP will be similar to all other F2P games - optional and will need to be purchased separately.
  9. Agreed. And with the PS5 I'm making it a point to buy physical, at least the single player ones. 95% of my games were digital last gen. I'll only buy games like Fifa/BF/indies digitally. Available space should be more than sufficient in my case
  10. I checked it out, its something the wifey might enjoy. She loved Fe till it got a bit tough Hopefully this is easier. It looks very similar to Journey
  11. Ah, cool. I saw a couple of reviews, so thought it might have unlocked for all.. Will check after 8.30pm
  12. Anyone able to get in? I'm still getting the "Join us on Tuesday July 27" splash page with an available soon notice below
  13. Waiting to see if it drops below 2000 to add
  14. I am actually looking forward to Kena & Stray (cat game). Unfortunately Kena physical doesn't seem to be available any where. Hoping it pops up after release. Death's door looks great, but with that huge list of games coming out, I'm putting a pin in it.
  15. My wife is a pilot. I plan to use FS as a tool to annoy her [emoji1787] Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk

  17. Ah, ok. Yes, its a unique one, they have been booking losses, I'm going sell some in the hype and secure some of the capital. The rest is all ram-bharose. They will need a strong fiscal quarter to have a bullish trend. Not expecting another BBQ Nation
  18. You mean hold all 195? Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk
  19. Planning to hold 50% and see how it fares. Seems to be hovering around 123-124 as of now...
  20. There is a slight difference. Audio is slightly richer and louder with the DAC
  21. I have a USB DAC with my Logitech G X Pro headset. Plugs in the USB port and works fine. Lately I have been just connecting them to the controller via the headphone jack though, just for the convenience factor
  22. I got one lot as well. Had applied for 4
  23. Man, I've been looking for the 7X for ages! Give a detailed review! and is your import hustle available for the rest of us? (although a 7k premium on these will hurt!)
