Yeah. Don't expect any Pixel to launch this year in India. At max, 5A as a delayed launch.

I was a regular Pixel user. Loved the simple form factors and no-frills cameras. Moved to the Galaxy series since they didn't launch the 4 in India. Not that I'm not liking Samsung, but I'll love to go back to the stock Pixel experience in a heartbeat if they launch the premium phones in India. Although, I'm a bit skeptical with the Tensor SoC, its built with Samsung, and their Exynos get beat by the SD chips year on year

I used to like being on the bleeding edge of tech, but now prefer stability, so would have skipped this iteration of the Pixels. Hopefully travel situation gets better next year and they iron out the kinks, if any. I'll look forward to the 2nd gen Tensor core Pixels and might try getting one. The S21 Ultra

Is it possible to use Android Auto wirelessly?

Android Auto wireless is available on the new Hyundai cars, not sure if its only the new Creta & i20. You'll also need a compatible phone capable of 5GHz and wifi-direct. You can check this link out with all the details:

https://www.xda-developers.com/android-auto/

There is a work-around if you car supports Android Auto, but your phone doesn't in the above link as well.

3. Looks interesting. I'm glad about the checkpoints, will avoid de-ranking in Rivals, overall it seems they making Rivals more approachable for casuals. Also like the co-op match making to try out new players, good initiative. Overall expecting it to be less grindy this year, fingers crossed!

I hope you have researched about the business, gone through their latest results and listened to their latest concall.

Yes, stock seems very bearish, but I am planning to hold for at least 3-5 years. Also, not going on a shopping spree :) adding in very small amounts and will continue to do so over the next weeks Don't have any other holdings in this sector either, and its not even 5% of my portfolio

Just for personal information, do you guys play multiplayer games more?
I used to play a lot of MP, but recently haven't had the time. Played with the scam gang for a bit, played demon souls with assassins and rushab. Planning to play ascent and fs with the scam gang if timings match up. But been enjoying FS, Doom, Raji solo and my usual fifa which is multiplayer

7. For those who have bought it will.. Already a group of ppl have agreed about 58K scam.. Abhi bhi pyaas nahi bhuja tera?

For you it doesn’t - Don’t buy, Simple..  Buy when the AAA games you think will launch..

Shut these nonsense and Gyan preaching already.. pages of Bull crap over and over again with so much concern from people who actually haven’t bought them.. Just bcos this thread is let for free loaders doesn’t mean keep sh*tting same things over and over again..

psinide - Are you new to this thread :giggle:wasted too much energy..

Hahaha, I thought I might indulge a bit today [emoji14] And cos I have both consoles I can bat for both sides [emoji14]

I guess it's just a case of schadenfreude for people who want GP to fail. Unfortunately, MS can just throw some more money at this problem without batting an eyelid.

I personally have been playing a lot more on the XSX than the PS5 since completing DS. Doom was a blessing, would have never bought it otherwise and would have missed out on such a gem - esp with the 'next gen' update.

So campaign will stay on GP forever and MP is free.

I guess Shawn Layden is correct in his analysis.

I'm not worried about how sustainable the model is or if MS will make or lose money, for me it's a great value proposition. If I get to play AAA games from MS 1st/2nd party studios for 'free' (I've stacked 3 yrs using the xbl gold method) I win, don't really care if MS or Sony do, cos billion and trillion dollar conglomerates don't need a keyboard warrior like me to validate their business models

8k for the entire experience. Wonder how much they'll actually charge for the entire halo infinite experience.. and how much theyll actually release via gp.

8k is for serious simmers. My wife is a pilot mate, she said having FS would have been a good educational tool during her training as it is a great visual aid. So for people who are aspiring pilots or serious simmers, 8k is worth it. It depends on the demographic and how people perceive the value. You can't generalize it

To draw a parallel - i spend ~6k on Fifa every year for the ultimate edition since it gives benefits for FUT, which is the game mode i exclusively play. Someone who only plays career mode may only spend 4k on the standard edition and still enjoy his 'entire experience'

10. A microtransaction masqueraded as a dlc/mod, so that extra $$$ could be justified.

Most of the airports, planes available on FS Marketplace are not from MS. The ecosystem there is comparable to app stores, MS need to spend effort to ensure quality and content meets the compliances and take a cut from the sales. The marketplace on PC is thriving, and if it slowly gets ported to the consoles, it's a big win for us consumers.

And as far as the editions for FS go - it's so casual players who don't want a whole plethora of planes/airports can still have a decent amount without paying for everything. If I'm not mistaken, X-Plane has a similar tiered system to add planes/airports/mods. Serious simmers are interested in different aircrafts and can get them if they want to, at a premium.

FS world updates are free updates and they keep enhancing the globe small sections at a time.

That's why I said the stand alone nature of the franchise is gone forever.

https://www.gamesradar.com/halo-infinite-is-meant-to-be-the-last-standalone-halo-title-for-at-least-the-next-10-years/

One time play campaign, launching day one on gp makes little financial sense. Many industry stallwarts have pointed that out.

Maybe that's the reason we don't have any inkling about the campaign yet, and MS is trying to vigorously push MP

That depends on the studios/publishers - games like RDR2/GTA etc will obviously make tons more money by going retail only. For 1st party studios or smaller ones, its a different case. Smaller studios may prefer getting lumpsum up-front, with first party studios, its based the overall strategy. EA Play Premium/ultimate/top dog (whatever its called) on PC has all their games available on day 1. Also, they don't include microtransactions with the game - Fifa Champions Edition/Deluxe Edition etc - similar to whats offered by GP with Flight Simulator.

As for the 'standalone' feature, it is like any other game you get on GP/PS+, base game included but shell out for DLC/Extras. Ghost of Tsushima had some stellar free DLC, but you have to pay-up for the Directors Cut, same for Death Stranding - if Halo Infinite SP has DLCs, it will be the same, I don't find anything surprising or unusual there.

Play previous halos, you will understand what I mean by that. Did halo ever have a story based single player expansion/dlc?

I've played almost all the Halo's until Reach

No Halo had a F2P Multiplayer component either, so there is a possibility of Infinite getting a story DLC. Infact, ODST was planned as an expansion but they launched it as a separate disc and bundled the Halo 3 MP with it.

But either way, you still get the full story experience of Halo Infinite with GP (if there are no DLCs) and you can play the MP regardless of GP subscription as it is a F2P game.

Back 4 blood is targeted towards multi-player mostly. I don't think it has a story based campaign. Neither does flight sim. Let's see how they release a aaa first party single player story driven title day one on gp.

It may be comparable to Destiny 2 on GP - you get D2 + all the latest expansions. But Season Passes are separate. Destiny base game is F2P, but you need to by the expansions on other platforms (at least on the PS). And SP - base game will be made available but not the DLCs imo.

So why did they delay the game in the first place?

Also, what all would be there in the GP version of the game. We habe no idea. It's clear that day 1 gp games lock away stuff behind paywalls (like flight sim and now back 4 blood seasons pass).

Its not exactly being locked behind a pay wall, season passes are microtransactions and optional. As for Flight Sim - You get the full game, and have pay extra if you want more planed and airports - personally, apart from the Dreamliner, nothing else on the other editions seem worth the money

Similarly for Halo, we can expect the full single player game, multiplayer is free to play anyway. And the battlepass/season pass system for MP will be similar to all other F2P games - optional and will need to be purchased separately.
