  1. I thought champu, chaman and calling people dumb were a common place on this thread, no?
  2. He too is God's work, and all God's special people should be treated with care and understanding, not insults. Please, be careful with your words with the special people, they are easily led astray - someone on reddit

    Elden Ring

I thought we were friends! Yes, cowboy's walkthrough for the first 3-4 hours only covers unlocking map fragments, kicking off NPC quests and setting up the boulder farm. I want to be as efficient as possible with this game, thats why I fall back to the guides.

    Elden Ring

My day starts at 6.30AM. I can't stretch beyond 11-12 in the night.
  5. I'm using the 25W one I had bought for the S21U. Online reviews state the diff between 25 & 45 is negligible. I prefer to stick to same brand chargers.

It hurts to see you excel in this game while I haven't had the time to pick it up again. I guess I'm just too dedicated of a worker to skive of work... Gonna follow fightingcowboy's walkthrough for the first 3-4 hours to get all the map unlocked. I have a fair idea for my build, but will need to be about lvl 50 for me to get OP, its a bit of a struggle till then for casters.
  7. No one was comparing them, I only said GT7 & MSFS, both fall in the Ultra Realistic Simulation Games genre, which in itself is a broad enough category, and that is where the similarities end between the two. But due to some pedantic bs, people here refuse to acknowledge MSFS even as a game, which is not only wrong, but also immensely stupid. This bs started at the launch of MSFS and I used the "how the turntables" card to poke fun at them, saying GT7 is also not a game, but a simulation "program" So, you know, keeping up with the true nature of this thread to keep the shitposting alive. Speaking of: Your a*s and thong fetish aside, MSFS was always a simulation game. And like I said earlier, essentially all games are "programs" that run on a computer, your statement makes not sense and neither does it prove a point.
  8. Well, the plane is in autopilot, so you are not actually flying it. Pilots also book the entire flight time in their logbooks to count towards their hours, not just the take off and landings, even though the plane is on auto-pilot. In long haul flights there is also a reserve pilot to let the active pilots rest and take naps. That nap time is also counted as flight time. The point I'm trying to make is, you don't have to 'fly' 5k miles for them to count towards your logbook. The same practice is also followed during actual flight sims - pilots are given scenarios, they don't sit on the sim for x amount of time the flight would be on autopilot, the same can be done with MFS, you can add weather etc, take control and fly. I'd say MFS is pretty close to actual simulators. The test of skill in GT is driving, the test of skill in MFS is flying, you're not testing anything when the plane is on autopilot. Calling the ffw feature cheating doesn't really hold up.
  9. Lol, how is it cheating if the game is letting you do it? That's like saying aim assists for controllers on FPS games is cheating, or disabling drive assists in GT is cheating. In essence, since GT being a circuit racing simulator game and Ank has 0 circuit racing experience means he's not played the game or cheated:
  10. 3K miles can be covered in a single flight- LHR to SFO is 5K miles.....
  11. I thought that was the whole point of paying for the sub, so we don't have to pay for games. For me, one of the biggest advantages of having GPU is being able to try out games which I otherwise would not. Deaths Door, Nobody Saves the World, Hades, Medium to name a few. Also, please decide, if GPU games are called free, ponies say FREE NAHI HAI! If GPU games are measure on number of downloads, ponies say SALES NAHI HAI! Thank you for confirming MFS is a game which people play.
  12. Basically 99% of your posts. And btw, I am not a big fan of the industry consolidation. Even though I will benefit from the MS acquisitions due to GPU, consolidation is never a good thing. Yes, but you still don't consider GT & FS to be games falling in the simulation genre
  13. Is it happening on the same game? Its happened to me maybe twice so far, I got my Ps5 at launch. I faced the rest mode bug a few times and now completely stopped using that functionality
  14. Weren't you crying about the speculation that Acti/Bethesda games might be MS exclusives? Hypocrisy is strong in this one
  15. Because that is also a bait. Its a bait within a bait within a bait
  16. You sound like someone who owned a lot of Blockbuster stock
  17. Snake & Cloud were synonymous with the Playstation brand. And we are talking about core gaming circles, casual crowd is now mainly on mobile. Sony has capable studios, they just need to price it in a way where their 1st party releases as day-1 offerings make it worth it. It will need to undercut GPU as Sony can't match MS in the sheer volumes that MS can churn out over time. But imagine all PS Destiny players getting future expansions for free, it can turn out to be a great offering, all depends on the price.
  18. There is one key factor that you are missing out on, Netflix make their own content and release it exclusively. This is what makes GamePass value for money, esp after their recent acquisitions. The publishers (developers work on salary with a bonus component tied to sales usually - different for indies) who release games day-1 on subscription service are well compensated by the said service, if they don't see value in that, they won't release it. For games that come onto GPU post launch period, the publishers will be getting a lumpsum cash injection. Taking the example of Deaths Door, @Assassins Creed bought it on XSX, while I downloaded it once it came on GPU. Sales will continue to happen if its a quality game. And people who wouldn't have bought it, will get exposure to the devs/publisher once it comes onto the subscription service.
  19. I would take this with a huge pinch of salt, We had such doomsayers at the end of the previous gen, predicting the end of hardware and at the advent of game streaming. Sony is definitely behind in terms of subscription services, but they have a solid list of IPs that even the Acti acquisition didn't dent. They will need to realign their roadmap to compete with GPU, but they still put out solid games year on year. The paradigm shift to subscription based games is still in its infancy, Sony is lagging, but they can catch-up if their Spartacus project hits it out of the park. Even if it doesn't, they will have time to course correct through-out this gens lifecycle (approx 7-9 yrs) I still think we have 1 more generation left for console gaming before stream-based gaming becomes a household thing
  20. That was my first reaction. Also, ergonomically it takes getting used to, the curve and the edges register a touch at the corners with my usual grip and my swipes don't work even with the accidental touch rejection enabled. Still getting used to the S Pen and trying to incorporate it with my daily use
  21. Congratz on the win @TRMNTR We got bumped to the semi's cos our opponents forfeited. Had a few ranked games with the team yest, but still not grasped the positioning. Best of luck for tonight!
