But the trend with sony is, once a new aaa title launches, they reduce the price of the previous aaa title. Atleast that's the trend in india. Maybe some sony india protocol or something. Ps- I strongly believe 5k is too steep a price as well.

I was comparing india with other regions. Sony is the biggest player when it comes to consoles in india. I think it has more than 90% of the console market. People swear by sony. I don't see it changing anytime soon.

Buddy india is not that big a market for sony. Us indians are used to overpriced games. Some will buy at full price and the rest will buy when the prices go down. Won't bother sony a bit. Ps- they might push psn in india though.

It's not about being x vs y. It seems like the whole industry is heading that way. Even Nintendo , though keeping the base price @60, is trying to increase the price by paywalling essential in game features behind amiibos and selling them individually @20-25 dollars extra, taking the whole price of the package to around 80 dollars.

People are going all Gung ho over ps5 game pricing, rightly so, however are forgetting the only XSX/XSS exclusive that got a physical launch in india was Gears Tactics and it launched @5500

Generally those who play just for the story and narrative boot the game up at normal. If the game is engaging enough of them, subsequent playthroughs are done at harder difficulties. (just an observation). Games with multiplayer/coop are generally played best at harder difficulties for the PvP later on.

Or simple play normal/ one step above normal level. Ps- these days some games don't give you options to choose difficulty, but set it according to your skill levels.
