    I hope rose is just one of the many/multiple playable characters in the next iteration. The lore needs to continue forward. We saw Wesker last, almost 2 generations back Regarding the presentation style, I'm not sure what direction capcom would take. Some are against TPS style. However I think they hit the ballpark with the RE2 remake. Maybe a mixture of both. Ps - I agree, Heisenberg and Redfield levels actually felt like something from Re-verse

    By patching/cleaning everything for the current gen (ps5/xsx) versions/refresh. Maybe adding some new story dlcs later.

    Which card are you playing this on? Have they patched all the bugs in the pc version. My copy (pc) is still sealed. I plan to start when they polish out 100 percent of the bugs.

    Though I feel 70 dollars is steep, but I think the hardware is so complex now, quality single player AAA experiences, specially exclusives, are extremely costly to build from scratch. My personal preference is a well stitched epic single player experience over an episodic experience with microtransactions (like Ubisoft has recently indicated it plans to do). Bottomline- don't kill off single player experiences to justify a cheaper price. Pps- just my personal opinion. Personally, I wait till prices fall before making purchase, unless ofcourse it's a franchise I absolutely dig. Gotta have that day 1.

    Agreed. Returnal, like demons souls would appeal to a niche audience only. Second, other two games are sequels to hugely popular franchises.

    Yeah no info on the remake though. I strongly believe RE 7 / 8 are well planned spin offs just to offset the re 6 fiasco. Now I hope they take the lore forward. Too many interesting characters to purge/ignore if they take this route further.

    There's literally enough info out there that they can make a docu on how they are remaking a 16 years old game vr compatible. Ps- apparently it's Oculus only for now.

    This is straight up console war bs. Both systems have sufficient games at the moment (via backwards compatibility). And to be fair to ps, it has more exclusives (albeit a tad overpriced).
