My college got permission to vaccinate the faculty, staff and hostelers via Covaxin.
I might get a chance too so will get it but seeing the recent updates, we should get:
Sputnik: May-June Approval
Zycov: July-Aug Approval
Novavax: Sept Approval
J&J (if all goes well): Sept-Oct Approval
Bharat Nasal Spray Vaccine: Nov-Dec Approval
Third booster for Covidshield and Covaxin are currently in trials as well, it is specifically for the new variants.

Vaccine is not a silver bullet , like everyone is assuming it to be.
I'm sure in the 1,50,000 infected yesterday, several would have got their first/second jabs as well.

Exactly. Even when corona was supposedly defeated, Pune city was getting 300-400 cases daily, which meant 30k new cases at least per month. Still people thought cases were low. They have no concept of addition.
I think deaths have been misreported as well, as the general mortality in india is so high.

Minoxidil is good if it works for you but need to be very consistent.
Baldness runs in my family but fortunately I haven't seen it in me till now, could get lucky.
But in case it surfaces then I am going straight for full transplant.

Absolutely, this is as good as a whole trial.
On top of it, it comes via a tweet which is the most legible medical journal out there.
Govt. doesn't want to vaccinate everyone just for the heck of it, we have sh*t ton of vaccines just to take a bath in.
The fact that vaccination isn't open for everyone and the manufacturers are saying that they can't meet demand isn't evidence, it's propaganda.
And how can we forget that we can sue SII and BB for billions if we get a fever from the vaccine. How else will common man make money otherwise?
Everything else is a hoax.
Trust me bro, I have a degree from WhatsApp University.
From the same uni- bleach is safe for human consumption.

A. There is no scarcity, there is a wastage and problem in distribution. Someone with access to real time data mentioned on Twitter that out of 170k odd doses availed to Mumbai, less than 1/3rd were administered.B. We do not know delivery schedule SII is following, But SII already provided 40m to GOI at the beginning of February. There is no data available in public which will suggest that vaccine stocks are running out, except political allegation, which debunked by Harshvardhan. He also cited the real time vaccine data. So if someone is serious about the charge of scarcity, they should take screenshots of dashboard and post it.
Strangely, this same set of people are asking for opening vaccines for all 18+, If we don’t have scarcity, we will have for sure.
That's why they want other manufacturers to launch their vaccines in india.
Ps- govt is actually encouraging monopoly by restricting us to two vaccines only.

Do you know Pfizer and Moderna have taken sovereign guarantee from the governments including US that there can be no lawsuits if “something goes wrong”.
Pfizer has asked Latin American countries to put up their buildings and military bases as guarantee to cover legal cost if there are any lawsuits. We are totally covered with Covaxin and covishield, I don’t understand why do we have to go out of way for Pfizer. Give them emergency use approval and then run into issues.
Though this issue is different, but, the indo us civil nuclear deal (123 agreement) has similar clauses built into it i.e there can't be any lawsuits in case something goes "wrong" in the nuclear reactors. Yet the govt is hellbent on going forward with the Westinghouse AP 1000.
Look people want to get vaccinated. Looking at the scale of population, more vaccines are needed. Hence people want vaccines from other companies. However, it'll hit the atmanirbhar vaccine manufacturer of the world image if the govt allows foreign vaccines to innoculate indian citizens.

Ofcourse. However looking at the failure rates of some vaccines that are being administered presently, I would take newer modes of drug delivery with a pinch of salt.
The oral polio vaccine you are reffering to came after 70 odd years of cumulative research via other delivery methods.
Right now, my hopes are pinned on single shot j n j vaccine.
