has all but dwindled.
By the time these titles do show up….Sony might be dropping bombs like Ratchet&C RA & HorizonFW on their service.
This might be the turning around point for GamesPass’s freebie popularity.
Just as fine fine restaurants sometimes offer buffet lunches/dinners, this is similar. A collection of first party blockbusters including GOTYs.
Best service out of all services. I guess this is the killing blow to GP.

That's how it's been the last 2 gens for me .
I was prepared to wait but this gen as well but the addition of SSD in current gen consoles changed things . Loading times on old gen consoles became very irritating .
For me it wasn't the games or improved graphics but vastly improved loading times which made me buy new gen consoles.
I predict xbox wont have anything new (other than halo forza) to show till 2023 end i.e 2 full years after launch. its xbone era again!

Yes. they turn their Tower on (charging) power, only for backlogs, as xbox got no games till 2023 mid.
Just imagine, the system launched in 2020 and only 2 exclusives so far, that too half assed releases

At most, it is going to be a 6-month delay, acc to their statement. Assuming that game doesn't have any "shape of form" is ridiculous.
I think the delay is similar to Cyberpunk's delay.
Though Cyberpunk had a full blown trailer before the delay got announced.
In this case, all we have- some concept arts, a bot that would be in the game (supposedly) and a CGI teaser

Phil Spencer is totally responsible for the debacle of a 2022 for xbox.
Ps can sucker punch xbox this gen as well. They just need to release the games scheduled and announce some secret unannounced titles like silent hills.

i dont know how they are going to handle the studios ,but spencer is definitely not doing it personally. Its just stupid to think he is ,each studio heads are responsible for their own teams and Ms is just providing them support as required so that they can release the best versions of their games.
If the best version requires a delay ,Ms will provide them from what we can see even with their big franchises like halo ,forza etc as well.
The best version launches after 5 years anyways in the form of seasons passes and extra modes in the form of dlcs.

All games that have been released or are going to release this year including ER ,horizon ,gt7 ,arkham knights etc were already delayed from last year. These delays are industry wide for all publishers and not just for xbox.
Many knew since the beginning that Starfield wasn't a 2022 title.
The thing is, xbox got no aaa first party till mid 2023.

Specially when the game costs 1/3 of the price of PS. (for Kena)Same can be said for Nintendo switch games, which are available on steam.
Steam has regional pricing. Nothing can beat steam when it comes to pricing and sales. The reason I am bullish about steam deck.
