It would have been great if Starfield would have launched this year
However, the lack of AAA first party has left a gaping hole.
2022 might just be the beginning of the end of Spenders reign.

This whole year with 0 first party exclusives, no third party day one games as well (nothing as of yet), 2022 is completely dry for GP atleast. (for now)
Golden opportunity for PS to cement their spot this gen as well. They need to release GoW : R this year anyhow. Plus reveal some secret IPs they might be working on (Silent Hills?)
PS:- I dont thin Cod MW2 will happen day one on GP. I am sure Sony has some kinda deal with activision (like previous years)
Only saving grace might be Gotham Knights.
PPS- I am sure a majority were interested in xbox this year just for Starfield. With that out of the window, xsx sales might tank unless Spender thinks of something radical to save his face. I mean, even after having high expectations, and investing in the xbox ecosystem, most xbox players have been playing Elden Ring since february. Speaks a lot about how dry GP feels in 2022. Most of the interesting games have already been played, with nothing interesting in sight anymore...

Halo community apparently is the 4th most toxic community in the whole of gaming. Top ranked toxic community when it comes to consoles.
And wherever online interaction is more, toxicity is more as well.

Also I have been a member here since 2018 . And don't know about 2020 in particular but since 2021 - first Hope and then Radical ( with help from you sometimes) have been igniting these wars - Xbox is no good - you're stupid suggesting sm1 to buy it / Don't buy 50k dabba with no games / it's a 57k Scam etc.
But this is true. Xbox got no first party games till 2023 mid.
So people should buy systems where the games are ie ps and nintendo.
Now with project Spartacus, people have even better reasons to go for ps. Specially those who skipped the PS4 gen .

Whole xbox ecosystem is based on online gaming. Even xbox creator Seamus blackley is worried.
Though this can happen anywhere/on any platform.
