I agree. For indies maybe, it makes sense. But for big corpos, i guess better, drm free ways can be employed.
Even with drm, day one GP games like Halo and Forza got hacked.
It's just that drm ruins the experience for many, specially in areas without a stable internet connectivity.

Seriously this irritates me as well . they somehow think they are better than Xbots but in reality they are worse . I don't see Xbots attacking neutrals for playing/owning a PS. PS bots also keep on posting random sh*t in XSS/X thread where they have no business . Also money grows on trees for them - You should only buy games . Renting is bad.

DRM is such a negative word not just in pc gaming, but software development in general.
It gets criticized by most who are into software development. It's can be compared to digital facism where the corporation controls everything one can consume or do online.
But ofcourse ?s won't know this and they'll continue to defend it ?.

I'm pretty sure they are oblivious to the fact that pc gamers have been anti drm since the, inception of drm. They must be unaware of the Denuvo fiasco which happened few years back and how REAL PC GAMERS came together and fought back.
Pc gaming never had drm in its design. The reason sites like GoG.com exist.
However post the 360, Xbox has been designed keeping the DRM in mind. Else langar can't be distributed.

Funny how people who were lecturing others about how Bethesda studios reveals /launches their titles are suddenly justifying delays by posting about wfh and all.
Few others and i knew since the beginning that the game is not a 2022 game.
