I bought halo infinite at launch at full price to see what's the brouhaha is all about. Needless to say the game is an utter disappointment. Will probably stay away from Starfield till some discount season on steam.

Once a playstation gets hacked, it's sales increase several folds. We can just imagine the craze of ps games in india. The cheapest xbox console with last gen performance costs >30k. Which is more than mid tier mobiles supporting pubg. Hence i seriously doubt.

Indians prefer f2p games. The reason mobile gaming is thriving. Even gamepass won't attract a majority. They would rather use fitgirlgamepass

As I have said before, Sony's forte is not a service. It is aaa blockbuster titles. And they are the best in business. I'm not a fan of subscription, so as long as they keep giving us such blockbusters and don't dilute sp games, it doesn't affect me much. I hope they do launch some of those retro titles, standalone, and not locked to the subscription

With that said, digital only opens another pandoras box wrt ownership. Physical is the way to go.
