  1. I'm not against digital Sale. I absolutely love steam. I'm against langar aka subscription/rentals.
  2. I atleast buy my games and don't rent them. Heck i even bought halo infinite at full price. And I'm utterly disappointed.
  3. It might very well turn out to be one. You are counting chickens before they hatch. Not even a proper trailer yet. And the game is supposedly out in 200 days
  4. I buy the games i really want, day 1. Rest i buy later/during discounts etc. Also, even sony knows second hand market thrives for their games. This has been happening since ps1 days. I'm sure they account for that while pricing their games. Further, nothing wrong in this either. Sony officially endorses methods i use to get my games. Dont believe me? Take a look at this . Official video detailing game sharing
  5. The whole market might turn into the trashy mobile gaming market we get at playstore. Chinese would be extremely happy. This is something they excel in.
  6. This.... For gaming to win, Spender must lose. Need someone better at the helm. Someone who respects gamers. Someone who doesnt greenlight half assed releases. Langar needs to be stopped soon. The bubble needs to burst asap.
  7. That's the problem. Many have stopped buying third party stuff hoping it'll feature on gp sometimes in the future. The reason for forced monetizing using ads. Colin Moriarty was referring to the same thing. We are getting invaded by gamers who refuse to pay for quality experiences
  8. Because they can't be. Even cable can be considered as a subscription based service with monthly charges. The thing is, the market is getting saturated now. Aaa Gaming is not compatible with a subscription based model. spender is linking the two. Subscription is a bubble which is about to burst soon.
  9. When the competition is about who can provide a cheaper langar, gaming as a whole is the loser.
  10. Next you'll say Newell is Xbox employee and steam deck is Xbox series h (handheld)
  11. I don't remember a time, when you had to pay for each and every serial/tv show you watch on tv However paying for games/experiences has been happening since the beginning of gaming. So yet again, comparing the two directly is another, ? logic.
  12. We call them, @WhiteWolf. BAsh the same hardware/company using which he got himself unbanned.
  13. I wonder if indie enthusiast @Vaibhavp paid the $15 for Deaths Door before the title hit gamepass. or does he like only those indies which get featured on the service day 1.
  14. Giving away a game that costs $500 million to make, for $1 (or a permutation) can be considered langar only. The amount that is being paid actually is "Chanda". As I have said before, instead of such services, xbox should instead focus on quality games which are totally complete before launch, which people would automatically get attracted to buy.
  15. + Backdoor entry into the service etc. Basically they are bleeding money away to attract loyalists to this service but not games.
  16. Yes. But competition means upping the quality of games. And not giving out half finished games for $1 It's certainly not about pitting blockbuster games against an all you can eat buffet service and expect the other company to emulate the model.
  17. Gamepass is being given free with candies and what not. Hence, it actually is langar sponsored by Spender. Thanks to this langar, many around the world have stopped buying games, waiting for them to get featured on the service-> leading to adsense of gaming. Ps - I predict sales of candies increase in the month of November.
