Just finished Black Mesa. The game is incredibly well made (for a fan remake) and the gameplay holds very well. Tried playing on the steam deck, but the gamepad controls were wonky, so had to switch back to the PC. The puzzles were good and the gunplay satisfying. Highly recommended for anyone who has not played HL1.

Looks amazing! Where did you get the matcha keycaps and the palm rest from? Go ultrawide 😅 Switched from 2x27 inch 1440p and I doubt if I will go back (unless I want to consolidate to a single 32’’ HDMI 2.1 4k monitor for both PC and consoles)

Long pending case upgrade. I upgraded from an RTX 2070S to RTX 3080 a few months back, but chose to retain my old CM NR600 case. Finally decided to take the plunge and chose the Lian Li Lancool 216 after a lot of deliberation. 5-6 hours later, moved over all the components from the old cabinet to this one. Really liking the looks and love the provisions for cable management. 1. Clean the keyboard and keycaps regularly. 2. Don't buy switches (full set) before testing them (buy some samples and try them out) 3. Upgrade to PBT keycaps when these become shiny Most importantly, do not forget to experiment. Once you become a real convert, you'll end up owning multiple keyboards On a side note, don't get pushed in to do mods/custom keyboards because of peer/community pressure. You can still be an enthusiast and own only prebuilds. The rabbit hole runs deep - make sure you don't end up regretting anything you do.
