All your games are maybe/most likely.

On xbox side there are more exclusives.

And an event upcoming. We could get Gears 6 for all we know.

Too much speculation. The more you post, the more nonsense responses it will generate. Just agree that MS dropped the ball on exclusives and day one for GP and call it a day for now.

Whether GP is value for money without day one exclusives is a different argument and is very subjective to an individual’s choices/preferences.

I agree. For indies maybe, it makes sense. But for big corpos, i guess better, drm free ways can be employed.

Even with drm, day one GP games like Halo and Forza got hacked.

It's just that drm ruins the experience for many, specially in areas without a stable internet connectivity.

DRM free is almost never going to happen. The world doesn't run on altruism. As long as it increases the barrier of entry for hacking, I guess publishers would be okay bearing the cost.

The issue is with having an always online DRM - which is a different topic altogether.

I mean they have started defending DRM now.

I'm sure they would have defended Don mattrick as well, if he would have filled them with langar

I am sure you know that DRM is an essential for any developer who doesn't want to lose money due to piracy. DRM is a PITA when implemented in a crappy manner or when it affects performance. But it's here to say and I wouldn't call it an evil. It's a necessity for any business.

Not sure if it was you or someone else who said "Developers are against DRM". Such bullshit. Anyone who wants to get paid for their work wouldn't be against DRM.

    -Engine isn’t great.

-Combat/Flight is nothing to boast about (overall gameplay).

-Game has a lot of content ready but a lot will have to be left out to touch the release date.

Normally speaking it isn’t really a big deal & it can easily be as good/great game on the lines of FO4(87 meta) or HorizonFW(88 meta).

But bots all around the internet are hyping it up as the next Hula Mula of the hooye gooye (Skyrim) & something that will be up their with the likes of Elden Ring & GoW~R in the GOTY race.

That’s why internet was set ablaze by this news & angry bots even wanted Bethesda to catch the leaker & ruin his career. (Once some other guy confirmed he’s legit)

Fanboys on both side will always have something to crap on. As long as the story, world-building and exploration is good - the game will be a hit. Skyrim was freaking fun to play because of the sandbox nature. It had every single pitfall that's being highlighted here, but was still a GOTY contender.

    This:-

Coz they can just announce an event early to kill the negativity coming from the leak.

They can’t really make the gameplay showcase up & running early just like that.

Was the leak actually negative? IIRC, he only said that the engine isn't great and the air combat is something he doesn't like. Combat being crappy is a known issue with most Bethesda games and it's a well known fact that Bethesda games are unoptimized af.

Radical already posted similar article in PS vs Xbox thread .

Also 3 hours and no xbot/pony has to come forward to explain/justify this supposed move :scratchchin:

If it was something against Sony Ank/Radical/hope would have been all over now trying to disprove it or how it could be useful for gamers as Sony will have more money to make even more better games :P

you are missing KC and Snake in your list :fear1:

Does anyone use an UPS for their PS5? If so, any recommendations?

I play on an OLED so the UPS needs to supply power to both.

You'll have to get something upwards of 1500VA. I tried using my 1100VA APC one for both a 55 inch OLED and the PS5. While the console can boot up fine, the moment I start gaming, the power draw exceeds what the UPS can provide and the UPS starts flashing red. The surprising part is that XSX runs absolutely fine when connected to the same UPS as the TV.

Either get 2x1100 VA UPS (which is what I've done) or get something that's rated at least 1500VA or more.

Yes, you're absolutely right no need to change anything.

Here im talking about innovation .wtf is that.hm

Not sure how many of those controllers you have used. But you clearly seem like a n00b here.

Dualshock 3 was straight up garbage. Feels cheap and the entire six axis gimmick is best forgotten.

DS4 was definitely a good controller. The touch pad addition is still questionable. Still dont know what great features it provides. To me the touchpad is just as useful as the six axis - essentially worthless. DS4 did feel better with good heft and brought the 3.5mm jack which Xbox adapted soon after. Not sure about the innovation aspect here. If tacking on gimmicks makes a controller good, by all means continue believing so.

As for Nintendo controllers, almost all of them except the N64, Gamecube and Pro controllers have tried something only to fail spectacularly. Do you even use the switch joycons? They are straight up terrible from ergonomics perspective and your hands cramp badly with extended use. Saying this from personal experience - I’ve owned everything right from the Wii on to the Switch.

Xbox nailed the controllers with the 360 gen. They made incremental additions over the years, but the core controller is reliable af. I would take reliability and good ergonomics over innovation anyday. As good as the dualsense haptics are, I can happily play a game without them and not have to constantly worry about shelling 5k when the springs break.
