    With travel still being extremely restricted, there is no point in getting a card that is exclusively travel oriented. You ll end up using the green amex for work travel anyway - this only makes sense if you end up country hopping on a regular basis and that too with your personal money. Definitely not for my paygrade ?

    10 lakhs plus annual spend for fee waver is also out of my reach.

     

    First year waived off. Chargeable from second year onwards. Will see if I can speak to CC and get the charge waived off if I don’t hit the spend limit.

    Can't wait for my Regalia to be upgraded to Diners.

     

    Is Diners being allowed again? 60k + tax makes it 80k - which is a huge amount. How can you even compare that with something that costs 15k annual? And Amex acceptance is still extremely low in retail and I’ve run into so many issues while trying to use it even in restaurants.

    Agree. This is more realistic. Doubt HZ-FW is gonna breach the 90+ mark on meta/open. Unless they do something really amazing with the story and side quests.

    Android to iPhone is not supported, but WA is reportedly working on it (for months now). It can't be so tough - there is something else stopping them from baking the functionality.

    - Backs up your current Whatsapp chat

    - Installs an old version of Whatsapp on the phone (likely due to compatibility reasons), you have to activate it, the app restores your backup

    - Uses some iTunes APIs to restore those chats to iPhone

     

    The manual process is also helluva complication. The software does work, but between the multiple activation (f**ked up the steps at first go), WA blocked further logins, and reset time is now 24 hours. 

     

    Thankfully I restored the backup on iPhone using an unused number. I guess if I use "change my number" after the cool off period, those chats should be transferred barring the 24 hours loss. 

     

    f**king hell Meta ! 

     

    This. Even I shelled out money to buy the app to transfer my entire chat backup. Android to iPhone is supported natively though.

    Cons-

    • very very restricted ecosystem. A lot of things which are very easy and basic takes multiple steps on ios. ex, try sending something over bluetooth.
    • Multitasking is not like how it is on android. missed it big time when i was using iphone.
    • notification center is still a hot mess.
    • customizations are still lacking compared to android.

    End of the day, if you do not multitask a lot and just want to use a phone for calling, taking pics and music, there is nothing better than iphone. If you are an enthusiast and use your phone for productivity then you will feel very restricted in apple ecosystem. That is why I had to come back to android.

     

    Apple will ask you to use AirDrop if you want to transfer stuff. As you said, they don't assume you buy a single product, they expect you to enter their ecosystem completely.

    Honestly the difference between android and iOS is not too wide now.

     

     

     

    +1 to what Athek said. More than what I miss, now that my entire ecosystem is on Apple, it's so much easier to manage. 

    My office calls from work iPhone can get routed to my personal phone and vice-versa. I can just pick-up and speak using whichever device is closest to me. Add in an apple watch, ipad and airpods, you can switch from one to another pretty seamlessly and carry over from where you left off.

    I don't think I'll go for a plat because of the issue with Xeno archive RNG spawns. I'll have to restart the game multiple times just to get that stupid collectible. 

     

    That said, I did try doing a quick run today to tackle the challenge rooms. Got my hands on a Rotgland globber with bouncing rot + exploding rot. Insanely powerful. I did the following in a single run without even dying once (did’t use Astronaut figurine too).

     

    - All 3 challenge rooms in the first 3 biomes

    - Got the survey trophy for Biome 1 and explored all the rooms in the 3 biomes

    - Maxed up health upgrade & the # of artifacts you can hold

    - Took down Nemesis 

     

    Pity that I'll have to start afresh in Biome 4.

    Finally beat Ophion. Stocked up on a couple of Sylphium vials and took him down with a pistol since I ran through Biome 6 and didn’t stop to hunt for good weapons. He really wasn’t that hard tbh. Tried hollowseeker in the previous attempt to only break through to the second transformation and then eventually die.

     

     

    Story is too convoluted IMO. But the gameplay loop is just insane. Wondering if I should try going for a plat.

    Always keep on moving. Finish the smaller enemies and turrets first. For the big guys, find a good grappling spot and keep grappling between two platforms while taking only a few seconds to shoot. That way you are invulnerable for most of the fight.

     

    That's what I am trying. The ice severed enemies are just not dropping. Guess I have to get my hands on a good gun first.
