Unlikely that the home kit is showing a false positive. My wife was sick with fever, headache for the past couple of days and got the rapid antigen test at home. It turned out to be negative but we also got the RTPCR done just to be on the safer side (negative too). Don't panic and just isolate. The last time when I got COVID, it took me a few days to start showing symptoms after my wife. It's likely that your wife/mom have built a good immunity or that their viral payload is low that the test isn't flagging it. Just quarantine, eat well (high protein) and drink lots of fluids. Immortals is a copycat. I have the game but have not played it yet. It copies the mechanics and game world design, but I am darn sure it cannot hold a candle to BoTW in terms of its charm. BoTW is unparalleled in the sense of adventure, discovery and joy you get while playing the game. Based on the gameplay videos I have seen, the narration in Immortals is annoying too.

I got the game for 1750 bucks. Even if I add 800 bucks on top, it tops out around 2500-2600 bucks. Much cheaper than the used copies retailing now and hence decided to go for it. I've already bought and sold the OG GoT, so planning to hold on to this one.

The upgrade for Ghost of Tsushima has to be most convoluted piece of sh*t I have ever seen in my 20+ years as a gamer. I bought the Ghost of Tshushima PS4 Director's Cut copy from Amazon (discount) and decided to install it last night. I was wondering if there was a way to directly install the PS5 version (like with Miles Morales) by downloading from PS Store with the disc in the system. Every time I tried navigating to the store, I was repeatedly prompted to pay for the upgrade. Mind you, this is not the 10$ upgrade, but the upgrade to PS4 Director's Cut that costs 2k+. I was extremely confused and thought it might be because of a different region disc and went on a wild goose chase to figure out the region of my disc. I even thought Amazon duped me by giving a normal edition with a sticker on top (which didn't make sense because the game banner with the disc inserted used the newer yellow color scheme, but didn't say anything about the edition being the Director's cut). After a good 2+ hours of searching around, I found out that the only way to upgrade is to install the game, then launch it and navigate to PS Store in-game (you get a prompt at the top right corner that's easy to miss). Once you do this, you'll be taken a PS Store page that is exclusively visible via this in-game prompt from where you can shell out 800 odd bucks for the PS5 upgrade. Once you do this, the PS5 Director's edition copy becomes a "Free" product to claim from the PS Store. You'll have to claim it, uninstall your PS4 copy of the game and then reinstall the PS5 edition. Abso-f**king-lutely pathetic

SoTC was a PS2 game. Demon Souls an early PS3 game. TLoU remastered already looks miles better when compared to many modern games. They could have simply pushed a 4k high res pack and called it a day. But why do that when people are willing to pay?

I think it’s a cashgrab like the UC bundle launch. The OG game still holds up incredibly well. Hope they have discounted pricing for those who already own it

I cannot fathom why you hate Hyderabad so much. I have lived in Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore and would rank Hyderabad as my most favorite. Not sure why you complain about people there as well. I made some good friends during my stay there. Good infra, decent rent for fairly large houses, laid back and calm life. Food is good, but the variety is nowhere near Bangalore. Atleast I can drive to any place I want without having to worry about being stuck in traffic or my car launching off the road due to speedbreakers

I have read the first two short story collections and just started on the novels. Played Witcher 1, 2 and haven't completed 3 yet. The series seems to have taken a lot of liberties with the actual events, but seem to follow the story thread from the books. The world-building is far far better than Wheel of Time and am really liking the core cast well. The actor who plays Dandenlion nails it. Geralt and Yennefer are good. Ciri, Vesemir are okay. Triss is a major disappointment for me personally.

I am not against replaying the game. There should have been some quality of life improvement unlocking fast travel from scratch. On PC, there may be a mod that does this, but I started the game on XSX and hate that I cannot enjoy the full story sinking in a few dozen hours more. I am all for playing the entire missions, but would like to skip on travel between the zones. Mainly because I don’t have a lot of free time to replay from scratch

I feel the exact same way. I finished the game on Friday (A ending) and hate the fact that I have to replay the entire game multiple times. That too with fast travel being locked in the second run as well till midway through the game.

Don't put on standby Just go to the home screen from in-game and turn off the console. Standby is only for consoles that don't have quick resume Jokes aside, check the power settings. There are two options - Instant On, Power Savings. Instant-On kind of operates like a standby mode.
