    Either the ops division is overseen by a bunch of incompetent morons or this is clearly an inside job. This has been going on for a while and I am absolutely surprised as to why Amazon really isn't doing anything to fix this problem.

    Bought this to gift wife's cousins. Wanted to snag the disc edition, but was only able to get this. Other purchases made over the last two weeks or so. Switch was an early birthday gift (to me) from my wife. Bought MK8 from Glasgow in Bangalore (visited after nearly 6 years) and Link's Awakening from a seller dealing in Switch games (Kishor) based out of Delhi.

    Platinumed Ratchet and Clank - Rift Apart. Loved it. Super fun to play and a surprisingly good story. Rivet is Planning to continue my Witcher 3 game on PC and Prey on XSX.

    Fake copy from Amazon. First time hitting the jackpot. Placed an order last night that was automatically canceled saying the delivery was rejected. Placed an order again this morning and received this. Total crap.

    This the case till 9th gen Intel. The recent Intel chips have really closed the gap. Like how AMD actually closed the single core performance gap, Intel has been offering more cores at a reasonable rate. I am specifically talking about desktop chips. That's one of the main reasons why you don't see tech influencers calling out Intel as much. As far as workstation chips are concerned, I still think AMD Epyc is doing better perf wise when compared to Xeon. As far as Apple's entry is concerned, I totally agree. They hit it out of the park with the M1. Excited to see what they come up with going forward.

    I think if Intel actually moves to 7nm, they might be able to beat AMD. Assuming AMD doesnt go to 5nm by then ? Intel's 10th and 11th gen offerings were surprisingly competitive.

    I got a digital edition without a bot for my wife's cousins. Our gift to them ? Wanted the disc edition, but didnt have time to look up configuring the bot. Just got lucky and snagged the digital ed that was available.

    I meant 1800p is a 15% reduction on both the axis. I get where you are coming from with the pixel density. I was referring to the spec power and not pixel density that would be required to render the resolution.

    Nope. You are wrong. 1800p is around 85% of 2160p aka 4k. I use it as a custom resolution while gaming on my PC connected to 4k TV. Pasting from PC guide: 1800p (3200x1800) has roughly 85% of 4K’s resolution (and ergo performance requirement) while achieving quality close enough that most can’t tell the difference, at least on a display with proper scaling.

    1800p is almost 80% of 4k. 30fps at 4k vs 60fps at 1800p doesnt make sense either.

    I agree. With Twitch and other streaming services gaining more popularity, there is insane value in delivering content via cloud immediately. Stadia was too forward looking. Won't be surprised if the entire gaming landscape changes in the next decade. I still don't think consoles would become obsolete, but the cloud strategy will probably expand the market to capture people who might be okay shelling out 60-70$ for games but not 500$ for a console.

    It's gonna be years before the subscription service turns a profit. I work for an enterprise SaaS company and even if we do make record profits, the books wont show. Cos the management will reinvest it to grow. With subscription models, unless you saturate the market, growth is all that matters. Even *if* the Xbox division becomes profitable, MS will use the money to acquire new studios or do something to retain the subscription base. Whether it converges in the long run, I don't know. But this model is here to stay for quite some time.

    Eh? I care about the content that's posted here and don't want a shitstorm brewing. Your only tactic to criticism is to quote someone and not deal with it head on? Dont act like a saint and pretend as though you weren't baiting. Keep doing this and you are going to drive people away from all threads. Leaving you and your alter ego to have a conversation all by yourselves.

    Just cos he does it doesn't make it right. Snake doesn't act like a mod a lot of times when it involves console wars, so bringing him into the discussion is moot. Sarcasm has a bit of wit involved. Was yours actually witty? I dont think I'll find it even if I use a microscope.

    No one said M$ is doing a better job than Sony If so, that person is delusional. All that they've been saying is that M$ is doing things right this time around and that Sony is sometimes deliberately being greedy. It's just hard for some folks to accept that. Why are you baiting in the PS5 thread unnnecessary? Especially when no one is making any stupid claims.

    It's for the games that I never had time to play during the PS4/Xbone era. Or the indies that I play now? How does that even matter? For critics who neither own the console, nor know the value of time, it's kind of hard to explain the value proposition. Maybe, one day they'll get there.
