Things like RT lighting/reflection comes to mind as priorityThe world in GoW og was sparse. This looks way busier based on the trailer. Textures look crisper too. I personally would be sold if the story and gameplay are good and they throw in haptics for the Leviathan ?

Liked the showcase. Almost everything announced is 6+ months away though. Thats a bummer.
Excited for KOTOR remake, Wolverine and Spidey 2. And GoW (goes without saying).
Does Uncharted really need a remake for PS5 ? Wonder if we will get the 10$ upgrade though. Simple 60fps patch would have sufficed, but based on the trailer, the lightning does look much better.

Agree. 8k is not going to be a reality any time soon.
8k 30 in itself not going to be easy. Cos 4k - 8k transition doubles pixels on both axis. Essentially the GPU should be able to push 4 times the pixels than it currently does. There's no freaking way that a 700$ system is going to be able do that in the next 1-2 years.
If you have a system that can do 4k 120Hz, then 8k 30Hz would theoretically be in the realm of possibility at least.

Good number of games are available. You do realize that game preservation is also a responsibility of the publisher/developer and not just the platform ownwer? MS is taking steps for games even publishers abandoned. Only so much can be done. If only Sony did something similar. I would love to play some classics like Chrono Cross, MGS1, Burnout on my PS5.
The best way to play MGS - HD, RDR1 is via Xbox back compat. Nothing similar exists on Playstation and that's a fact.
Both suck when compared to PCs. But with PCs everything is digital ? What about that?

Consoles suck at game preservation - MS is better in the aspect that they at least support playing the games released for older generations despite all the caveats you have mentioned.
Sony can easily make PSP, Vita games playable on the PS5 or even on PS4. Did it happen? Nope. Heck it cant even play PS2 or PS1 games.
Why even fight this war unnecesaarily?
If you want game preservation, get a PC. Not a console.

The "people" are mostly xbots and eminent click-hungry media walas whether on their own sites or through blue-ticked tweets.
Since BF2042 is not a PS exclusive and "EA Bad" is a horse beaten to death by this point, EA being a scummy company is like water being wet, so no outrage clicks and "engagement" over it so mediawalas will not bother.
If Sony would have "rode the wave" so to speak, till the media would focus on something else, no "vote with your wallet" meme would occur, and consoomers would still get HFW for $70 only with some additional grumblings online.
Like literally look at those annual sports games, every year people buy the same sh*t with marginal changes, and they set the trend with scummy practices, whether NBA 2K wala being one of the few multiplat games to go with the $70 route or the new FIFA charging $40 for upgrade
People bitch about CoD since ancient times, yet it still makes good bucks every year.
Or like how R* is greedy with GTAO, or how Todd Coward will remaster Skyrim for smart fridges and people will still buy it

You are going to read more news about PS here because this is primarily a Playstation centric forum. Nintendo, Xbox and PC definitely have a smaller presence when compared to Sony.
By that logic, the outrage for Sony stuff would be more simply because more people care about it. Heck, I own both XSX and PS5, but you won't see me complain about Live or PS Plus price hike, cos I simply don't care about online.The HZD fiasco was concerning prices of games and it's a lot more universal, so I did raise my voice against it.
Combined with both the reasons I've given, why is it hard to believe that there's a simpler explanation for people voicing out against Sony rather than selective outrage?

Why do you think it's selective? There was outcry when MS decided to hike it's XBL prices. Every time someone brings up something shitty Sony did, the response to it is NOT MS did something similar.
The same holds true for Xbox fans as well.-

At least freaking charge 10$ for upgrading the PS4 version to PS5. I still hate the fact that I should buy the DLC for GoT if I want the full PS5 experience with haptics. Let alone free upgrade, give the PS4 players an easy way to upgrade to PS5 version even if you aren't giving it for free.

Press is reporting because Sony is setting a bad precedent and normalizing this behavior. People like me don't bother speaking out when 2K or EA does this because I really don't care about most of their games. They are able to get away with it because they have annualized IPs that will be sold in the millions and these folks will shell out money no matter what. Sony has been "for the players" or rather used to be. And I care about the games they release and hence will have something to say when they make a sh*t move like this. This is normal human behavior. When something affects the things you love/enjoy, you start raising your voice.
Were you really bothered about Corona when it only affected China? I am assuming no. Did you lose your sh*t when it started showing up in India? Heck yeah. I hope this is easy to understand.

Come on man. Dualsense is good, but are you seriosuly comparing a modular, customizable controller with something shipped with a console by default? By that logic dualshock paddles shouldnt exist.
So better options shouldn't exist anywhere? Have you seriously used the XSX/X1 controller? Its built like a tank and you rarely see anyone who owns it actually complain about it.

My point is that if he is doing a technical analysis, specs are essentail to establish the baseline.
If you tell me that PS5 puches above weight for its specs, I'd definitely agree with you. PS5 blows PCs away with value prop. Has performed amazingly well against a better specced XSX. These are known facts.
That being said, if someone is doing an objective comparison, then how can I trust the reviewer if he only shares details when you ask him? I find DF credible mainly because they put a lot of data out there. If you think they are bullshitting, its easy to find out. For all the dump that PS5 fanboys take on DF, they have covered both sides rather extensively. From what I know NXgamer barely does Xbox related stuff. So obvious tendency to think he is biased.
