I don't think anything is going to change, but glad that these questions are being put forward. With respect to accessibility and the impact on marginalized communities.

Game is very forgiving with a lot of checkpoints. But it does require the use of the second analog for camera controls. If the child can get accustomed to using the second analog, no reason he/she shouldn't be able to play.

Literally booked the last slots in COWIN for parents second dose of Covishield last night. Got done with vaccination this morning. Was pretty seamless and well organized (private hospital in Hyderabad). Booked first dose of Covaxin for me and my wife for Sunday. Via a portal sponsored by company. Hoping it actually works and is not just saline.

Grab it. Especially if you have an SO to play it with. Easily one of the most charming games I have played (still playing). Like Nintendo level charming. Got it on steam (with some discount courtesy @gamer_adi) and zero regrets. Will probably get a physical copy later just for the sake of collection.

I think people being salty are those who are butt hurt after making fun of XSX for holding back next gen game development. It's just a way for them to channel their guilt

Pretty much this. Also, you are going to be spoilt for options unlike those of us living in India

Exactly my point. We should really stop justifying such behavior and tie everything up to socialism/welfare politics. I know people who complain about GPU or console scalping take a different stance when it involves something as fundamental as vaccines. Just because they are able to afford the difference easily. Double standards.

A doctor consultation costs about 500 bucks in most of these hospitals at least. That includes the fee to be paid to a doctor who has spent close to 7+ years of study and many more years of practice. This also includes all the cost that you are talking about (including the building cost, electricity etc). While I understand that you are anti left/socialism, justifying vaccine price hike during a pandemic is absolute nonsense IMO. It literally costs a hospital nothing for storage and syringe/labor costs to innoculate someone. Whatever you may say, this here is price gouging and opportunism at the worst. 50-75% markup may not be much for you or for me, but for a lot of people who don't aren't rich and have a family of 4 or more, it is a decent amount of money when you sum it up. And this is not even accounting for the bulk rates these hospitals pay to procure the vaccines. I am pretty sure someone like Apollo or Fortis will get a discount on procurement since they have a pan India presence Just to give some perspective, my brother's hospital (where he works) used to charge 3k for an RTPCR test. Is that also justified?

Not just that. Indian CC cards stopped working too even if you have international txn enabled. I had to use my friend's US card to purchase last year.
-
Nothing so far. Knowing Rockstar, I wouldn't be surprised if they charge extra for it or if they do a remaster. Even I am hoping for something on XSX.

You can get keys from humble and other stores. But wont be able to claim the discount

No way to gift on EGS. You either have to ask someone for their CC details or share your account info and ask them to purchase

And I see privilege talking here. Edit: And who is the scientist talking here? You?

What toll on humanity? Every life matters. You can't choose to penalize people in the off chace that it gets wasted. And these people you choose to ignore would be most vulnerable cos they have been ignored/neglected repeatedly. It's like saying if a child doesn't eat food, you will throw it away cos it's getting wasted or someone else will be hungry. Even if the cost is that child dying. I dont think I can make you see my point either. Lets drop it.

Its going in the bin and its an issue. I agree. I have an issue with the way you passed judgement on lives and tied it to money. So if I show you proof that I pay more taxes every year, does it give me the right to sh*t on you?
-
Dude. There are so many things wrong with the post above that I really dont want to pick it apart. By your logic, the intrinsic worth of any individual is tied to money. So old folks and retired people who no longer pay taxes dont deserve to live? By extension of your logic, my opiniom should matter more and my life should matter more if I pay more taxes? You sound no better than our callous politicians. How old are you, honestly? I never said its okay to throw away vaccines. All I said was don't pass judgement on other people's lives and talk about what needs to be done to not waste vaccines.
-
The reason the vaccine is getting wasted is because of lack of awareness and hesitancy. A lot of folks including extremely well educated ones in T1 citites are hesitant to take the vaccine. How does holding the same standard to illiterate folks or people with limited exposure even make sense? Folks in the cities have seen Corona first hand for a fairly long time now to understand the importance of vaccines whereas this is the first time villages and smaller towns are getting hit badly. The issue here is lack of awareness. We should be talking about how to tackle that instead of passing judgement on lives of people who simply don't know better. By your logic, someone who is hesitant because of ignorance or fear deserves to not be saved because they are wasting vaccines.
-
A colleague of mine passed away last week due to COVID. The main reason according to my manager was that he was in his hometown (remote area) and the medical facilities there were inadequate. So vaccinating people in villages is even more important than metros because the medical infrastructure in even T3 cities suck leave alone villages. I understand that metros need to be given importance because of higher population density. But your comment seems to imply that the lives of villagers are lesser than that of metro dwellers. Is that so?

Proving that we come from the boomer generation -
Why should they raid the twitter office for this? Why not just ask Twitter to submit documents for proof. All said and done, this was a tweet by a political party. Not sure why the central government has to interfere. Retards believing that they can get everything done by strong arming.

I am all with you guys if they don't allow me to download the games that I've already paid for. I don't see an issue with shutting down services (ability to purchase new games) for consoles that have reached EOL. -

From a consumer POV, you are right. But it costs money to rent/own servers for these games and services. If my install base is barely a fraction of what it was and I barely make any money (if I don't incur loss) on the services, why should I continue hosting? Every software/service reaches an end-of-life. Because it gets harder and costlier to maintain legacy stuff down the line. As you said, it should be based on consumer behavior and Sony definitely must have crunched numbers before deciding to pull the plug on PS3 and Vita store.
