The prices are really good, agreed. But I enjoy couch gaming a lot more these days when compared to using the traditional PC setup with keyboard and mouse. Also, it's a pain tinkering around settings and getting things to work as they should especially when there's not much time to play. My wife gets really annoyed when I have to tinker around something while playing a co-op game with the PC connected to the TV. Much simpler to game on the console instead Just bootup and play.

No one here is saying that. In US 10$ price difference is cost of a large latte in Starbucks. In adjusted prices, its a lot more expensive in India considering our purchasing capacity. Edit: In short, 10$ is more reasonable when compared to 1k increase here. Even discounting purchase parity its 1/6th or about 16% more expensive in US compared to the 25% here.

It is hard even if you do help out. For instance, my parents got stuck in Hyderabad with us because of the second wave. Mom has a lot of back issues and can't stand for prolonged duration. It's gonna be so far ahead in the future. I doubt even if the next generation of consoles can do 120fps @ 4k. And to talk about HDR, the format is still playing catch up. The feature is so forward looking that there's a high likelihood of our panels developing burn-in before a game/content that truly leverages this comes out
