They haven't given up on it. A bunch of titles got upgrades a while back. Not 4k but 60fps modes. Meaning they are still supporting old games but necessarily from X360 era. And this work was done by MS and not the publishers.

Same here. I gave up halfway through the DLCs. Completed the first chapter, and started the second and played a bit . Didn't even bother with the third.

Bought a used copy from Gameloot only for them to call me up and tell me know that the game does not come with the case/steelbook. No way I was gonna pay 2.7k for a copy of the game that didn't even have the case. CeX had one for 3.3k which is priced too high. In the end, prepaidgamercard came to the rescue. Bought a new one for 3.2k on Saturday and got it delivered today. Pretty good experience so far.

Miles is way better as far as pacing is concerned. Some might argue that it's even feels rushed, but honestly I loved it. After getting plat on the base game and starting the DLCs on the OG SM, I got extremely tired of repetitive side missions that simply replaces the enemies. And the MJ sections in the base game suck big time. Hope the next Spiderman addresses these concerns.

From what I read, the game is locked to 30fps on the Pro. But the checkerboard implementation isn't that great and the reconstruction artifacts are visible in motion making the lower resolution more noticeable. No a bad way to play the game. But if you do have an XSX/Xbone X/PC, the game fares better on those platforms.

Exactly the same. It felt like the game was running in slow-mo when I switched to fidelity mode. The gameplay felt very similar to having Into the Spiderverse suit power enabled.

Right now, RP Tech is your best option to get it at retail price. Else prepare to pay 2-3x the cost for AIBs or a significant margin over the MSRP of the FE cards if you choose to buy from scalpers.

Honestly, who cares about which hardware is more powerful other than fanbois? I honestly think is a better built and engineered console when compared to the PS5 in terms of form factor, quality, heat dissipation etc. But the games are all that matter and right now, both of them have a lot of prove even though Sony is ahead by virtue of it's first party hard-hitters.

Gameplay wise, Miles feels like the game that the original SM should have been. You get rewarded for making progress and don't have to grind much to unlock powerups and suits. The side missions don't overstay their welcome too. The story also moves at a much better pace.

He is from Chennai and was the one who gave me the email of the PS India head when the local SC pulled all shenanigans with my preorder. For all the flak he/Rishi receives here (understandable too), they were super helpful in helping my case get noticed.
