Almost all major changes to existing business models go through a phase like this. Like or hate MS, they really have something going with gamepass. Their CAQ maybe high now, but the eventual plan is that it will become profitable once enough people are in the system. The point us they don't need to make money now. I am not a fan of this model myself. But its just plain naive to say this is a stupid model. All the naysayers about cloud computing were forced to adapt when it became the norm. I wont be surprised if this is the standard 5-10 yeara down the line.

Why would you want 4k footage? If you are looking at CPU performance, the difference is barely noticeable with 1440p and above. CPU becomes a bottleneck only at high framerates. Higher resolutions become more of a GPU benchmark.

Any recommendations for a good mesh router? Used to have two connections at home. One for work and another for media. But Tatasky pulled the plug at my location recently and planning on investing in this as against getting another connection. Budget around 8-10k tops. Also, I suck at network related stuff. Easier it is to config, better it is.

The major problem with most panels lower than 55inch is that you'll lose out big time on features. Despite the high cost, you will not get features like VRR or local dimming even if the 55-inch variant has it. I'd recommend that you do your research before getting one.
