I talk facts beyaatch. PS always win in sales unless Sony makes some huge blunder.
Though as hardware XSX is better and higher quality piece of tech that will be replacing my PC in future. PC equivalent to XSX specs will easily cost you around lakhs here or close to it but XSX will not be as expensive.
Not necessarily, right? Xbone X will cost around 50k ish around launch I guess. You can get a good enough PC with equivalent specs for around 1.2L in a year or so. After that, the money that you save from games can easily help you offset the cost.

Go for B9. Difference is hardly noticeable. Just make sure that you get a brand new piece and not a display piece.
Thanks, man. But finally found a Reliance Digital that was open and had it in stock. Paid around 1.3L after cashback.
Also, how do you actually know it is not a display piece? The sales rep told me that it is gonna come from warehouse. Just by making sure that it is sealed, right?

I dont know for your location, but B9 was 1.15 ish after cashbacks in Delhi.I havent tested it, but last I read B9 did recieve gsync update.
C9 @Sach4life bought bought 1.23 after cashbacks from an Lg shoppee.
So, basically I am finding it difficult to source the C9. Am wondering if I should go for the B9 ? Is the better processor worth it?
-
I ve been looking around trying to enquire prices for C9 for the last couple of days. It seems to be overpriced in Flipkart, and Amazon shows it for 1.35L and often goes out of stock. Tried going to Croma (I live in Hyd) to check and I saw a huge queue outside and decided to return.
Any idea what would be the street price? I see B9 on stock for around 1.25 on Amazon. I will mostly be buying a month or so down the line, but want inputs on whether to wait for CX/BX to drop or just bite the bullet and go for a C9 or a B9. Also, does the B9 support Gsync?

Street price for c9 should be around 1.2 only post cashbacks.
I got my B9 55 for 1.15 after cashbacks.
Any major difference between the C9 and B9 other than the processor? And where did you get it? Online of local brick n mortar store?
-
Want to get an OLED in the next couple of months. Eyeing the LG C9 55 inch. Want to use it with PC and consoles and the 120hz VRR and HDMI 2.1 support make it really enticing. What would be the street price?
Budget would be around 1.2Lish.
Any other model/brand to look out for?

At least you no longer are required to install their dogshit spyware app. Looks like they finally gave that up.
If you are talking about Aarogya Setu, then I just read an article that MHA has mandated all public and private sector employees returning to office to download and install that app. The security in the companies are supposed to verify if the employees have it installed before letting them in.

I am playing Witcher 1 and plan to start Witcher 2&3 after this. Let's just say I have atleast a dozen more AAA games on the backlog on PC and PS4 alone (not counting Wii U) and I still went ahead and bought AC Origins and Odyssey Gold ed from EGS ? Not to mention I havent played any AC game till date

The game is going to look glorious in HDR. But I wonder what the checkerboard resolution is going to be. The gameplay video shows a bit of shimmering in motion and my guess is that it would be 1440p.
And one gameplay element that's a relief is not having to stop to pick up wood and collectibles. It got super annoying in Horizon.

Some very valid points raised by Ramchandra Guha here. Time is not lost and we can still turn this around.
But, it's pointing fingers at our supreme leader and telling him how to do better!!!
Expect some congress bashing, a few statements criticize Guha for being a sickular pro-socialist Congi supporter. And a hellava lot of statements that come in defense of the government. Defense that will not flinch or waver even if the facts become visible to the human eye and dance naked in front of those folks.

India to plan tax holiday to win new investments
500mil USD investment =10yr Tax Exemption
100mil USD investment =4Yr Tax Exemption
Really great offer for companies trying to leave China (If it's true)
I just hope these concessions dont translate into higher local taxes on consumption/income to reduce impact on cash/revenue inflow.

Extreme Socialism is bad, way too many examples.
Extreme Capitalism is bad, one big example.
We also have is opportunism and lethargy-ism, and WE are the biggest example.
We want liberalism like USA, Infra like China, Social welfare like Nordics, Human rights like Germany, Cleanliness like Singapore.... but we won’t do anything which made these countries what they are.Covid has laid bare underbelly of Indian society for everyone to see.
This.
I am neither a capitalist nor a socialist. But as you rightly said, extremes of both are bad for people and I cant agree more.

No it wouldn’t be as bad as you are thinking.most of these laws are enforced through inspectors and the unions, both take bribes & both disrupt the work, especially the second one.
Honda was doing really great in India, until 2009-2010. Then they were hit by strikes, which were done by unions on behalf of some political forces. They settled off (by paying off some people but they kind of lost their way after that.
Unions are very powerful & new factories really don’t need them.
the factories which follow the rules...,follow the rules nonetheless.
those who don’t follow the rules....bribe & get it done. Wages/work hrs aren’t going to change drastically.
elimination of some of the laws will make it easy for new players, keep in mind we are trying to lure companies out of China. Our competition is with Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand....if we are not going to make it easy, they will.At least, there was an avenue to legally challenge them if things go wrong. With these laws passed, people just don't have the rights in the first place.

It's actually a masterstroke.
And I mean it.
MP is also doing similar thing.
Small and medium factories use a lot of contract workers whom they let go quite easily. They also pay them way below minimum wages and poor folks hardly get to complain, in fact they don't even know what they should be paid.
Plus there are many many statutory inspections.
With suspension of these laws a lot of work can start very quickly & factory owners won't get harassed by inspectors.
MP is targeting 1 day approval for factory starting, the officer would be penalised if he doesn’t finish due diligence in a day.the only problem is UP’s move will likely get challenged in SC by usual suspects.
Honestly, this isn't about ease of starting business. This is about allowing businesses to start and function with money in mind compromising safety protocols. And possibly exempt them from persecution if things go wrong. Honestly, are you telling me that this is a good thing?
Say you are a migrant laborer and you signed up for 6 hour shifts only to be told after a month that you have to work 10 hours to get the same pay. Are you telling me that this okay? If that is the case, I am frankly shocked at the callousness. I guess, it would be the privilege talking in case you actually approve of this and think it is fine.
Let's all boost the economy by exploiting people and making profit. Yay to capitalism.

All but 4 labor laws suspended in UP through an ordinance to "spur" economic growth. I mean, seriously, WTF?
I can't believe how callous and pro capitalist our governments can be. This is just going to affect the most vulnerable section even more during post COVID recovery.

In Persona 5 Royal - you can achieve Platinum Trophy in the first play-through, if you know what you are doing. Trophies in Royal are easier than in base Persona 5, but SEGA/Atlus have incorporated an in-game awards system, which will give awards for achievements and points that unlock various things (Movies, Concerts, Music, Creating your own Palace etc.) in the Thieves Den (A New Feature in Royal).
In base Persona 5 (The Original 2017 game), it's not possible to get platinum in the first play-through at all. This is because there is a trophy for completing the Persona Compendium (i.e. creating all Personas), but one super-secret Persona is only available to be created in New Game+. For those who have completed the 1st play-through of base Persona 5, I'm talking about -
Also there is a trophy for defeating a secret boss, which is again only available on New Game+. I'm talking about
All those New Game+ requiring achievements have been moved onto the Thieves Den Awards in Royal though. So you can earn all the Playstation trophies in the 1st play-through itself.
@l33tmaniac That depends on why you didn't complete the base game. If you did not complete it because you didn't like Persona 5 - don't get Persona 5 Royal.
But if you liked the game and didn't complete it for any other reason - then stop playing the base game and play Royal. Royal is the definitive edition, and is absolutely worth it. You will be missing out if you play just the base game. But be warned - Starting Royal means starting from the beginning of the game. So if you are progressing on the base game currently, you might get pissed off at Royal, because it starts right at the beginning, i.e. from Kamoshida's arc. Though there are many changes made from the game right since the beginning, so it does justify playing it. Just that you might get burned out, if you are currently playing, say the 5th palace and have to re-start from the 1st. In such cases, it's best to give a time-gap before you start Royal.
If you have kept the base P5 on hold though - skip it and start Royal. it's absolutely worth it. Not to mention, all the old content of the base game is also included in Royal (and you will only see the old content if you play the game in a bad way/make certain poor decisions)
I love Persona as a series. I just didn't have time to play and been busy playing other stuff. I also wanted the physical version of the game (steelbook looks dope), so held off. I ll wait for a bit and play other games till I can get the Royal physical ed. Have tons of backlog, so will probably get to them first.

Yes, finally completed the game. My first and only platinum trophy across the entire PS architecture (at least as of now)
Almost 140 hours for the 1st play-through, but it was absolutely fun and absolutely amazing. Once again Atlus has topped themselves, making a game better than even Persona 5 even. The new 3rd Semester was an absolute blast, and had one of the best villains in the entire series (perhaps going into one of the best in video games period). The new Palace was amazing and the new boss battle was absolutely fabulous, making sure that you have to apply everything you learned in the game.
Overall, loved it. The new gameplay additions, music additions (This one you don't even have to ask), story additions and everything else was magnificent. The only negative I can think of (and this is a very subjective nitpick) - I preferred the Base Persona 5 anime cutscene that happens at the very end of the game rather than the new anime cutscene they added here.
Now onto the IRL concert videos they included with Persona 5 (Many concerts that happened from 2010 onwards), tinkering with the Thieves Den and Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
I already have the base game that I haven't finished it. Do you recommend buying the Royal edition? Or play the base game now and get the Royal ed when it goes on sale later?

I'm not sure if it's a question of money. World Bank has given economic stimulus, RBI has tried doing what it can. The issue is availability. We don't have enough manufacturers of PPEs, and the quality we are producing is rubbish.
Ofc doctors and other frontline staff should be the last people to get salary cuts. Not sure if defense funds can be used for this since we don't know the extent of loss of cut (overall), and i doubt they want to set precedence for funding civilian activites with military budget.
Plus there's PR. A lot of PR. Apparently US has been doing these flybys for some time, so the govt won't let go of a prospective PR.
I understand that this is going to go from preallocated defense budget. The PR crap is what's annoying the f*ck outta me. Ringing bells and clapping and all are okay. But the freaking govt can pass laws and directives to show that it actually cares instead of stunts like this

Nah. I have barely spent a fraction of the money that I had spent on PS4 on my PC games. But my library is like wayyy more. Also, PC upgrade path is cheaper over a period of time, right. You can choose what to upgrade and what not to.
I am talking about over 6-7 years. If you hold off from getting games on day 1 (like I do), I get games that still go for 2k+ on consoles for a couple of hundred bucks during sale. That's what I meant.
