  1. Is Dale Steyn also injured? If yes, for how long?

Also, why does Hashim Amla not play in the IPL? :ko: I'm sure every IPL club would want him.

steyn out with a side strain. Might be fit for the next match according to a report a couple of days ago. But current status not known
  2. Injured i guess..

who is betting for a WI vs NZ final..

No he's dropped. According to Holding he is not an automatic starter in the 11. One if the reasons why they also handed over the captaincy to Bravo.

Australia and Bailey we are looking at you

  3. ^^ true, his inning yesterday was the saving grace at the end, we almost threw it away in the last overs of our batting

Also such a pleasure to see Chu**** Sharma playing well, when on song his shots are such a treat to watch, some of those pull shots were so incredible

I feel his innings yday was a wasted opportunity.. He should have continued on to get a good score.. But I am happy he scored.. I love watching him bat when in full flow.

Now it remains to see if he can follow that innings up with some good consistent performance. India needs a Mumbai boy at the top! It's our tradition :P

  4. Ishant is a complete Donkey. Gadha hai really.

One of the replays he had had all his face covered with his unkempt hair. A sportsperson who prolly will have to fend a ball coming at break neck speed, and he is still not learning?

His throw at Doni's end came late and wasnt as zippy as a fast bowler's. To make matters worse, his pedestrian bowling continues. Cant believe he is the same person who had ponting jumping about.

Still rem his face when he missed the run out opportunity in the 3rd ODI against pak in the last series. Dumb cricketer.

his throw to get miller out was equally awful! Threw it to the wrong end blindly. Thankfully miller was even worse
  5. Dude seriously check some of the stats in the recent ODIs with changes rules. 7-8 rpo with 6-7 wickets in hand has been easily gettable. Even now du plessis if he fires, it can be tough for us

I know its gettable, all I was trying to say is that its not called choking. The match was and is evenly poised, India has and edge but its withering away.

That was aimed at silent saying this is odi and not t20.

Until de v and Peterson were around, the chase was def on. Then there was a sudden brain freeze! Granted according to your defn, SA didn't choke per se but it was a period of real brain freeze!

  6. U r have the wrong definition of choking. 150 off 120 is not easy by any means when u are 3-4 down. This is not t20, even by t20 standards it would be a competitive total.

Lol from a good position to suddenly losing ground and playing like retards on the field; that is choking!

  7. Dude are u serious?! India chased down 333 in the warm up albeit when they were going at 4-5 rpo. The momentum was certainly in their favour till de Villiers was on.. Last 10 overs 80-90 runs is easy now with the changed rules. Just check the recent England nz series for an example

  8. Chokers chokers chokers :happydance:

This cannot be classified as choking, they were no where close to victory.

And now it looks like we will win with a considerable margin, will help the NRR when it comes into play.

When Peterson and De Villiers were playing it almost looked a game won. 150 off 120 is easy in modern ODI..

And they are choking! Horrible running, bad shots, everything says choked!

  9. And DK. Over smart :| feel sad though, any other keeper than AB and he'd have eacaped.

The ball was actually on its way down and hence it stuck in the gloves because it was a slow bouncer so it lobbed in. A normal pace delivery would have flown over.. AB indicated so himself

  10. And the scary thing is that he is just showing off maybe 50% of his skills/ move set . I wod really love for him to open up and show some more submission moves.. That Boston Half Crab on Ryback looked dead painful!

  11. Does well on helpful pitches. Gets pummeled on flat pitches. Case and point Mumbai. Despite being a pitch where Bhajji and Ojha have bowled consistently well. Same will be the case at EnglandFlat pitches pe results balle ki dhar pe banate hai. In delhi SRH got 8 wickets and restricted delhi for 115, so imo they have good chances there.

    8 wickets against DELHI

    I rest my case :P
