  1. Those of you guys having trouble, why don't you ring the Bell and invite other online players to your world? You don't need a friend from your FL for co-op. Game will find players for you (randoms).

And why worry about loosing insight so much? You can buy Madman's knowledge item from the Bath messengers. Using that item gives you one insight.

BTW, I am not sure if Madman's knowledge is available from the start of the game. Check the messenger's inventory. Also another way to get insight is to enter a boss arena and quit the game. You get 1 insight when you meet a boss for the first time.

  2. Are you guys following the side quests? I finished the Tiny music box quest. What a sad end :( This game is Dark.

Read if you have defeated Father.

So I decided not to tell the little girl that I killed her father and that her mother is dead. Instead I asked her to go to the Cathedral (Safe haven). After defeating BSB I decided to go back and talk to her in Cathedral, but she wasn't there. Went to her home to see what's wrong and found this -

Something was wrong. I searched the entire area, but couldn't find her. Went to the Sewers. After killing the the giant pig, I found this -

    FROM software is evil

What outcome did you guys get? Please share.

  3. I am going for Strength build. Almost all the weapons I like so far are strength based.

BTW, Ludwig's Holy Blade is just too good! Reminds me of the awesomesauce greatswords of Souls.

  4. Only way to reduce Insight is to spend Insight at Insight Shop :)

You get access to buy at Inisght shop if you have 10 or more Insight. You can have 13 Insight safely. At 15, difficulty starts to increase.

    Nope.

You can also spend insight by inviting others in your game, invading and joining others. Each co-op / PvP initiation costs one insight.

  5. Yo Hunters, Check out my new Flame Sprayer! :D

Had power cut while playing the game. When I booted back the game, guess what? Save file corrupt. And it wasn't backed up to cloud because storage was full, and it didn't even warn me. 15 hours of progress down the drain

Gonna have to start from the scratch :wallbash:

WOW, that's really unfortunate. But thank god that it happened early in the game. You can easily catch up to your last progress in approx 2 hours.

  6. ^^

THIS GAME :majesty::wub: .. forbidden woods section is one of the most stressful gaming levels i ever played.

Welcome to the club. This is exactly how I felt when I played Dark Souls for the first time.

  7. You don't have to sell anything. Don't worry too much about Blood echoes. Later bosses and enemies give you tons of echoes. Losing 5-10k blood echoes is not a big deal at all.

  8. Don't worry about level difference. If matchmaking is good (not sure yet) then game will put you against players with closest level first. Game is very popular now so chances are high that PvP will be fair.

For people interested in PvP -

    1) The online community decides a level perfect for PvP. Wait for few more days and we ll know what it should be for Bloodborne.

    2) The real fun of PvP begins after finishing the game. Don't start NG+ immediately after finishing game.

    3) After finishing game, community will decide some predetermined areas in the game where PvP will be fun and fair.

    4) There should be items in Bloodborne just like previous games that allows you put red sign on ground that will visible to other players in their game. If those players wish to fight you then they will touch the sign. You will then invade their world and the duel will begin!

    5) Always bow before a duel begins. If you don't then you are grade A douchebag =P

    6) Never use blood vials in a 1 vs 1 duel for a fair competitive fight (unless the other guy is a douche and uses it repeatedly).

    7) Previous games also had Covenants (Destiny's factions) that allowed you to fight others in a proper arena. Don't know about the covenants in this game.

  9. KC/CC/Mean - can you guys suggest which skills i need to invest at this point .. my skill tree looks like below.

What exactly does Bloodtinge and Arcane do?

I think your Vit and End is perfect. Don't put points in them for a while. Increase Strength / Skill depending on which stat your favorite weapons scales. Invest points very carefully according to your playstyle. There is no respec option in the game (correct me if I am wrong).

Also don't try to bump both Str/Skill equally in one playthrough. For best damage output IMO it is better to go for either one of str/skill. Do not over level your characters cause co-op works when players have almost same levels. If you level too much then you won't be in summon level range and matchmaking won't find any players for you and you also won't be able to invade others for PvP.

I know many players who had to restart Dark Souls after playing 50% of game because their level was too high and they were not able to co-op / PvP :P

  10. Abbey but how to bring you specifically in game

For that I need to have Small Resonant ring. And my password should be same as yours. Simple! =P

Can you confirm if party chat works with the game?

  11. Started downloading again! :D Can continue tomorrow.

So sick of seeing that "Can't proceed before installing the game" message for the last two days. Lets co-op tomorrow, casuls :smokey:

  12. ^^ Yup. Previous games had badass backstab and riposte animations. And it was different for every weapon type.

Bloodborne's riposte animation sucks. A step backwards indeed.

Btw, my net still not working :( Can't progress now without downloading the rest of the game. FML.

  13. Guys, don't forget to find the 'Tiny music box' before you start the second boss fight (Father G) in that graveyard area. You can use the music box three times during the boss fight to stagger Father G. Gives you enough time to get close and land a few heavy attacks. Check some YT videos to know the location of the item cause explaining here is difficult.

Also, keep in mind that the boss has three stages. Stage 1 - He will attack with one hand axe and gun, Stage 2 - Two hand axe, Stage 3 - He will transform into a beast. IMO, it is better to use the music box after stage 3. Make sure you are at a safe distance (not too far) from the boss when you use it, otherwise you will just waste its number of uses.

  14. Tune video Nahi Dekhi kya meri, first day of BloodBorne :smokey:

Try against boss, matlab area boss :P Not that fat guy. He is not even mini boss.

BTW, buy that hammer and try every weapon.

  15. Krik-Hammer animations are pretty badass. And the normal sword's attack speed is good. But overall (so far) I find Hunter's axe the most effective weapon mainly cause of its reach. That R2 power attack is amazing. Try it against a boss!

  16. A few questions:-

    Just met that crow woman

She gave me two items, 4 warrior amulet to Respawn & save BE & one more thing

I just can't see where the second thing went in inventory or what it was?!

& in the room before that two guys are hanging with some items

    How to get it?!

The second item is a gesture (like destiny's gestures). Access the gesture menu by clicking the left side of the touchpad.

About the attack controls, Assuming you are playing with default controls -

    1) L1 after any other attack (R1, R2, 2 R1s, 2 R2s...) - Transform attack.

    2) Sprint (press and hold O) then R1/R2 - Running attack

    3) Press O then immediately press R1 - Back-step attack

    4) Press O + Direction, then R1 + Direction - You will roll then attack in the direction you point.

    5) Forward direction + R2 - Leaping attack

    6) When locked on to enemy, dash towards it and hit R1/R2 - Basic dash attack

    I might have missed some.
