Rest mode is not as important for boot time but for downloading patches overnight or not wanting to boot the console to be greeted a large download pending. The 1X and Series X both have done fantastic on this front. On the PS side it has worked on the Pro erratically at best. Most auto download triggered patches come in around 5am if you have it sleeping in rest mode. But sometimes one still gets the download pending slap as they start their fav game. Thank Jesus CoD MW fixed it with preload of patches with the last few seasons.
