comprehensive 3 year extended warranty bro. Officially lg don’t cover burn in on paper. But the engineer and another friend who has one told me they do honor for ext-warranty customers. That’s kind of a grey area since it’s not laid out officially and that’s a risk one has to be ready to take if they wish to. Ultimately it boils down to pure luck though. Taking a gamble then becomes completely subjective for every individual. The way I look at it, TVs nowadays anyways barely last 4-5 years without developing issues. Might as well enjoy those deep blacks and the gaming goodness an oled brings for the same peace of mind but the added saxxyyy visuals.

From what I’ve heard from a friend who’s super into displays, micro Leds will command an even super premium price than oled for at least the next 3 years. So not holding my breath for those. The way I look at it, if I get an oled next year be it CX or C1 and it lasts me for 3-4 years I’ll be back on the market hopefully when micro leds are palatable from a price perspective. Not to mention they would’ve have a 2-3 generational refreshes ironing out any new-tech bugs.
