Finally managed to install and play the game. Having played console FPS for quite some time now, the shift to KBM is a little odd. But I'll manage.
Also, I never liked the classic game mode. Always prefer Deathmatch.

Nopes. No DPI adjustments. CleaNote is slightly tweaked stock ROM, but the tweaks all are under the hood. Cosmetically it looks like stock, but then I'm using Apex + all sorts of custom icons and widgets, so no worries there. Most importantly for me the S-Pen apps work and the phone is buttery smooth with no hiccups whatsoever.
I agree CM/AOKP/PA etc give you more options but for me stability + fluidity > Z number of options as a daily driver and hence I opted for this.
Do remember if you're flashing NoteCore v14:
1) CWM will take 30 secs to show up, so don't panic.
2) All sorts of logging etc has been removed from the kernel to ensure better smoothness, so no logcat.
I'll take the plunge probably

@Alekh : CleaNote and NoteCore downloaded onto SDCard, itching to flash. But I'm not sure if I can make the move to phone UI + 320dpi that easily, got too used to of it. Any way of configuring the same on this ROM?

Recently gave CM9/10, PA ICS/JB a whirl. Nothing, and I literally mean nothing comes close to the smoothness and stability I have with CleaNote ROM paired with NoteCore latest kernel. That ROM/kernel combo is mind-blowingly stunning !
Didn't try any TW based ROMs since the brick-bug time. Are these kernels safe now?
And I am on PA (CM10) right now, so I can just flash the CleaNote ROM via CWM or should I flash the NoteCore kernel via PC Odin first?

goodwill can be bought by pricese ...like selling lat lowest price or giving away games! but i cant do that(money problem) my goodwill and repution will be based on "i wont cheat anyone at anything" so im doing,telling everybody the truth!~

some games are not to be sold (collection) tell me one thing,why pple dont buy new games?coz they cant afford sealed games price (me) and to finish a game it take 1-2 months finish ...after 1-2 month game prices are slashes a bit so seller have to sell it at lower price ...about mw3 i gave an example just ...u cant buy mw3 at 1500 now (have to buy at higher price) aur use karne k wajai se disk scratchs hota hai so daam kam karna padta hi hai!

On PA JB on Note, /sdcard refers to the internal parition and /extSdCard refers to the actual SD card.
Also, the three storage types are listed as follows :
/storage/sdcard0 <- Internal storage
/storage/sdcard1 <- SD card
/storage/usbdisk0 <- USB OTG (pen drive)
AFAIK, apps connect to the SD card by the /sdcard, is that correct? Is "/sdcard" a symbolic link?
How to make /sdcard point to the SD card?

With just 1GB remaining, Steam decides to mess with me and it has restarted the download for no apparent reason. Valve, this is pathetic.

This may be a step from steam to stop piracy from retail copies. Isn't this happening with some other steamworks enabled games too? I noticed this kind of thing last with CODMW3. I had got retail copy and after installation steam client downloaded some amount of data.
Same thing is with sleeping dogs too. LA Noire too.
But 3.5 GB is indeed ridiculous
And CS GO was 13 USD only, Y U NO buy digitally?
There was only a minor difference, the digital copy being about 10% costlier than retail. But what really tilted the balance in favour of retail was that I would not have to download the game. Oh wait...
