    Where were u when Arsenal were struggling ?

    How many trophies have u won ?How many trophies will u win this season ?

     

    i have always supported arsenal irrespective of what happens on the pitch ....it is just the way arsenal run the club and play football i like so much.

     

    i dont know about you but i will take champions league qualification over carling cup anyday of the week.it is a cup where most teams field there second strings for some experience.

     

    Liverpool are not going to be challenging for the league title anytime soon...you club is in complete shambles...just look at the players you have in your team ..everyone bar suarez is average..you have no young players coming out from the youth academy and champions league qualification is not going to happen for you for a longtime as teams around you are improving(newcastle,mancity,tottenham)....this after spending millions of dollors on the transfer window.winning one carling cup doesnt mean you guys are in a better shape than arsenal.

     

    now lets look at arsenal shall we....

     

    1.no debt

    2.play attractive football ...kind of football you guys can only dream about with Carroll,lucas,spearing,downing and kuyt in the team.

    3.gr8 youth setup...have produced talents like Wilshire,gibbs etc.

    4.quality side...with world class players like rvp,vermaelen,sagna,koscielny and potential world class players like ox chamberlain, Wilshire,Szczesny.

    5.60000 seater stadium with world class facility.

     

    i could go on but felt this alone is sufficient to showcase the huge difference between Liverpool club and arsenal football club. i am happy i support arsenal and not liverpool.

    it was an awesome match...barcelona was leading by 2 fluky goals but real Madrid totally dominated 2 half and got it back to 2-2 but they could not finish it off..real Madrid missed 4 to 5 sitters in first half...all because of higuain :wallbash: ...Barcelona were reallylucky...also they were rolling over the floor everywhere and got Ramos sent off . if benzema had started real would have won..for real madrid ronaldo and benzema scored and for barcelona alvez and pique i guess..it was a breathtaking match..barca trough on aggregate 4-3

    i don't think defensively we need any signings..we would have sagna,santos,vermaleen,gibbs all back in a months time...maybe some loan signing for a month would make sense.. attacking winger is top priority...walcott, arshavin,benayun and rosicky wont cut it....need somebody who is fast and can dribble and take on defenders just like gervinho but with better finishing....we need an attacking midfielder too...ramsey is not ready yet to provide goals and assists we need from an attacking midfielder..jack is not a goal scorer himself .he is more of a box to box midfielder like arteta.. so we don't have much options in that position now...in attack we have vanpersie henry, park and chamak...if van persie gets injured we can kiss champions league spot goodbye....we need an world class striker who would serve us for long time ahead.

     

     

     

     

    if i can buy only 1 player then i would buy gotze.he can play both out wide and in central midfield...he makes good runs into the box and has nice finishing as well..he would be an excellent addition to our team because opponents usually defend very deep against us and walcott is useless in this situations...gotze on the other hand has wonderfull control of the ball and can break defense with is timely runs and through balls.

    Sky Sports understand Gary Cahill's move is off. This after Arsenal's second bid for the player was rejected.(@skysports_bryan)

    looks like we are signing Santos,Chu-young and Mertesacker.we have also made a 12 m bid for cahill which is being evaluated by bolton.there is also rumours going around about arteta,hazard,malouda,MVilla and gotze.Hoping something happens before the transfer window shuts. :nerves:

    what state we have got yourself into in the past 3 months...Have been a huge fan of arsenal since 2007,never do miss an opportunity to see arsenal play be it playing pre season friendly against barnet.i had huge admiration for the way the club was run and the quality of football we produced back then. always believed we will have a quality team in 4 years time which would be unstoppable for a long time to come and this belief made me to stick with the side even when they produced depressing moments one after another.how can i forget gael clincy conceding the penalty at the very end against Birmingham during 2007 season or the dismal 2008 and 2009 season i had to witness.last season i felt we are very close to having that quality side and 1 or 2 signings this season would made it happen, but instead we have sold all our best players and retained all sh*t players(rosicky,arshavin,bendner,squallaci,troare,to just name a few) in the squad and have made no effort to sign quality players. this raises the question why i do have to support a club which lacks any ambition to win trophies and is satisfied with finishing fourth.the team has shown no courage.determination or character in these four years to deserve any support as well.last season matches against newcastle,westbrom and stoke city was so depressing to watch and the way i felt after those matches was unbelievable.WENGER GTFO AND DO US ALL A FAVOUR :rant:

    nothing directed at u, but i think arsenal's conduct in this episode has been shameful. This is not how you treat a player who has given so much to the club.

     

    arsenal has every right to demand what they seem is a fair market price.why should arsenal sell him for money which is less than what liverpool paid for Carroll who is not even half the player cesc is.
