The only problem atm is despite getting a good margin of victory their NRR is not reflecting it. with 10 teams in the fray i am sure that NRR will come into play while deciding te semi finalists. MI needs to bat first, to get their NRR up and test their middle order

DD and Punjab both commited serious error by not retaining their star players. Punjab even had some good money left with them after team selection. But DD made a complete blunder IMO by not retaining gambhir or any other star player. Take sehwag out of the team and even my societies team can DD with 1 hand tied behind.

Sangakarra steps down as the captain of the Srilankan ODI and T20 squad.............its good to see srilankan captains throwing in their hat selfishly for the sake of the team. In an era where the captains have to be pushed out of the position, this is surely something good. I cant remember any other subcontinent captain doing it except Tendulkar.

Man my voice is gone from all the screaming last night. What a moment it was.
I just read from around 40-50 pages back and the reactions were predictable. The moment SL made 274 and we lost Sehwag and Sachin, everyone here started abusing and talking sh*t about the team, as if beating Australia and Pakistan was a distant memory. I was watching the match with around 200 other people and not one person around me was writing India off at that point. This is not the same Indian team from 5 years ago. You could see that in the stadium as well. The crowd was cheering every single because they realised that all we needed was to pick up singles, keep wickets in hand and stick to 4-5 runs an over. For all the talent we've had over the years, we've never been a team that handled pressure well. This team does, and that's why we won. Incredible team effort.
The streets went crazy last night. What a night!

the light just went off in the house for a micro second, while all the other electrical appliances restarted, thankfully my notebook which i was using without the battery just did not go off. just out of sheer curiosity wanted to know why did this happen? my home desktop used to restart under similar circumstances, but why not notebook(without battery)?
