    You know you guys should just leave the Pakis alone.. they played well, and if there had been a second batsman at the the other end (and not a bowler) during those last few overs instead of the lone guy standing there frustrated trying to hit all the balls to the boundary and not running singles, it could very well have been a very very different story. They played well, we got quite lucky with the number of times Sachin was dropped. That's that and we won. We didn't quite crush them, in fact towards the end the team got rather lax.

     

    We should just move on and hope for the best against Sri Lanka instead of posting gifs all over facebook and twitter and attacking them on their own forums. That's just some really low sub-human behavior. :doh:

    They might have been paid to drop the catches, but the indian batsmen didnt particularly request them to drop them. they have been dropping them consistently throughout their matches, dropping catches is no excuse for a loss. there are many variables that could have gone the other way, but at the end of the day team won, that is what matters and that is what counts.

     

    Also there is nothing wrong in having a last laugh at the guys who just 2 days ago were acting as if their team has already won the world cup.

    So I am watching the highlights now (missed a fair chunk of the match) and how the hell has Ajmal not been pulled up for chucking?

     

    Edit Why yall be hatin on Sanjay Manjerekar? He has a pleasant voice, speaks good English and knows his stuff. All in all he is a pretty good commentator. Compared to the likes of Sidhu (annoying) or Ganguly (poor speaking) he is actually superb.

    Me thinks ravi shastri is the best amongst the Indian lot.

    Also i dont understand why does the channel bring in Siddhu? he behaves like a boiled is always ill mannered towards other members in the panel, and super annoying to watch . He is fastly becoming the Ravindra Jadeja equivalent of commentary/postmatch discussion

    tell them you want to get dust etc and fans cleaned up and try to get it done in front of you only.... btw what's your laptop model? I can check if it is easy enough for you to at least check if that is the issue or not (though 2.5 years of usage would definitely mean there is a lot of dirt in there)

    I am comfortable with desktop hardware, but never opened up a Notebook before.

    I do vacuum the keyboard and the ventilation vents once in about 2 months

    GS, it's better if you get it cleaned asap..Otherwise it may harm your system. It shouldn't cost much either. You can either do it at home easily (well, depending on the laptop company and model. I generally buy laptops only after finding if it is easy enough to open and tinker around) or you can get it done from some service center. They shouldn't charge more than 200-250 bucks for a complete clean up I guess.

    Thks, i will take it to the service centre in next month after my work gets completed :). what should i ask for at the service centre?

    Thks kunni and Shntz.

    The notebook is 2.5 years old there is no warranty left. i intend to stretch it another 2-3 years minimum. I use it only for MS word and pron :devil:

    What do you guys suggest should I take it down for servicing or wait for a few more months?

    It seems that its raining heavily in Mohali right now.......if it continues tmorrow, it will be major pwnage for the overhype created by the the media :lol: also the ppl who are spending obscene amount of money for tickets and travelling to watch the match

    The HDD area on the HP compaq notebook has been heating up quite a lot these days. The room has good ventilation, do you guys think there is something wrong with it? The notebook is a bit old around 2. years, plz provide suggestions how to deal with this

    I agree with your point 2 and 3.. Infact I bought my 1st SX4 two months from it's launch and was surprised to see that only one backlight worked... I thought I got a damaged piece, only to be told that , this is what you get.

     

    As for the Headlight.. I remember banging it withing 15 days of purchase..so the Headlight that I have in my Car is a nice, jazzy, improved version..(not the one that came with the model)..However the other SX4 that I have is only 6 months old, the new version and I am pretty much happy with the Headlight.. or am I used to it.. I am not sure.

     

    I have driven Verna, Fiesta , Logan and Honda City as well.. and I can proudly say.. that though Verna and Fiesta are far more smooth drive with better interiors.. SX4 is one helluva comfortable car with awesome pick-up, best in line ground clearance, tough looks and is really low maintenance as well..with hardly any hassle in terms of parts and servicing etc..

     

    I am just another girl..not a pro in Auto machinery or their workings..but this is what I feel.

    yep the car is awesome and being diesel is again a plus point. I've read on the forums that using a higher wattage headlight can result in fires and voiding of warranty, although i would not worry too much about the warranty clause.

     

    Also the 2nd back light does works, but its a rear fog light which i think is kind of lame.

     

    am not a pro in automobiles either,and its not just you, but also my driver and dad failed to identify this flaw untill i brought it up.

    Ha ha ha ... what an intelligent minister they have .... Saying such things in media before the crucial game ...

     

    In a way I have to admire the pakistani team to have come so far in the tournament with this kind of support system at home .... :rolleyes:

    There was nothing wrong in what he said...... pakistani team has a great reputation for fixing, but he should not have gone to media with this, its just lack of common sense putting your own team into pressure by making such statements. but then again it would be wrong to assume that Pakistani politician has any common sense... :P

     

    on the brighter note, IF the Pak teams get defeated in the match, they can atleast blame him for the defeat :D
