I never said anything about not dropping him from the current series, i just said that he should stop playing after the aussie series. No matter what every 1 says, he deserves a farewell series.

Ashwin should be promoted above Dhoni. His timing and shot selection is absolutely brilliant, I think he has cemented his position as all rounder spinner in Indian team.

Yep, Pujara has really played well to put India in this position. Ashwin is playing well, and there is bhajji still to come, he can put on a quick 15-20. India atleast have a safe score when they get past 250.

a win but not a satisfying win somehow. eng are going to get a lot of courage from this 2nd innings & not panic like they normally do in these conditions. plus walking wicket bell isnt there in next match.
espn went from taking a poll abt whether match would get over in 3 days (which was highly dumb & almost insulting england in the 1st place) to whether match will go into 5th day to whether eng can win
1 bad series when DRS just started turned india off & that has hurt india more than anyone else. i'd rather have a improperly calibrated technology which is impartial then incompetent umpires. in this match the egregiously wrong decisions (i'm not including the close decisions which would go either way depending on how the ball tracking went) was 7-4 in england's favor (this includes the all important Cook who was plumb lbw early in both innings).
i have a feeling cook, prior, kp & samit are the ones who're going to be thorns in our side for this series
also dont know why dhoni underbowled yuvi. he's a part timer & it'll take him an over or so to get into rhythm so he should be given 4-5 over spells atleast. just 1 off overs will not help
That's the point, all the time BBCI and dhoni keep on saying that the technology is not 100% accurate. But it's not necessary to be 100% accurate, it will help to reduce the number of errors if not completely eliminate it from the match. But sadly, cho*u dhoni and BCCI have their heads into each other asses, they don't know how to use it in the team strategy and hence are completely avoiding it. T team used it for a short time and that too on the insistence of tendulkar. They need to loose/draw the match big time due to umpiring errors, something similar to what happened in Australia, this would sober up the whiny bitches.

Warney n murali struggled against us so monty n swann are no big deal..
They never struggled against India, they may or may not have been less effective against Indians as compared to other teams, but not on the same level as failing to get wickets.

Monty is not even Close to swann Standard so we should b ok, and only positive eng had was cook and prior everything else was sub standard.
They dont really have much option, there is no other spinner in England. Whereas, India can prepare a squad full of spinners. Its kind of funny though, the english and Aussies never had a spinner heavy roster. But still they had the greatest spin bowlers of their era i.e. Swann and Warne.

And ojha as MOM. I doubt things would get any easier for India now. English team would have learnt their fault in team selection and Monty would most likely play the next match.
