I'll have to start with Shadow of Chernobyl in that case. Should I play the vanilla version or try some mods?

You can start with that and go in order - Soc > CS > CoP

I highly recommend using Stalker complete mod - it fixes and enhances lots of things wrong in the original game while still providing a vanilla experience. It's available for all three games.

  2. I really love this game, but sadly didn't even play for more than 15 hours.

I still feel like playing Battlefield 3 more than this. qorWrHU.gif Those times were really good. BUfAvIF.gif

Ikr. I still like to watch Bad Company 2 montages.

Told you to increase your difficulty level .. the full health recovery after meditating is a complete game breaker.

I'm playing on Death March this is where the game gets exciting. You literally plan before going into a fight i.e enhance armor/swords, brew some potions, use oils and cast specific signs on each enemy. Anything below blood and broken bones is a child's play.

Yeah. That's why I went for it. I don't mind the health recovery much. Random food item + 30minute regeneration mutation is enough. Plus a vitality drain / regen decoration helps.

But yeah, it was getting stupidly easy on S&S. Will play some more on this difficulty to decide whether to go for Death March.

  5. Exploiters are getting banned everyday (they should) and I never saw pricing glitches. Someone please inform those glitches here! :P

Talking about Summer Sale of 2011. They had interesting mini-games and things going on with Items/Games as rewards.

Glitches part was a joke. ;)

  6. Bumped up the difficulty to Blood & Broken bones after playing almost 66 hours on Sword & Story. Damn! This is an entirely different game now. Much more enjoyable.

Potions/Signs actually mean something now. Previously it was just smashing left click until enemy health bar drops to zero.

  7. Does Steam do black Friday sales? I genuinely dont remember.

Does it matter anymore? It's like there's some sale every two month these days.

2011; now those were some sales events. Mini-games, exploits, daily pricing glitches and all that. ;)

  8. I don't know jack about controllers so can't really compare it with any other controller but it does feel good for certain games. I can't really play FPS/TPS with a controller. Tried it with Witcher 3, CS:GO ( :P ) and didn't feel really comfortable for obvious reasons. However, it is awesome for 2D platformers. I played Vessel/Broforce/This is the police with it and the experience was alright.

It works fine as a mouse too. Only issue is, when you launch a game with the controller connected, it launches in some sort of controller mode(or something). For instance, I was having some issues with the controls in a particular game and I wasn't able to use it as a regular mouse.

I have used the Xbox360 controller briefly and this definitely feels better in hands. Gotta read some guides to get the most out of this thing.

    Damages: 50$; bought in US.

  9. I played it. I even completed the quest. What a deck I had. I was literally destroying everyone...gold cards + monster deck (used to multiply)...good luck. Feel when I used to get all (almost) heroes deck...

  10. I dont know but is this praise worth it?

Today we have amaze/fk to compare, what about the times when you wouldn't get a cheaper price when amaze/fk weren't there? I m not pointing towards itdepot but in general. Shouldn't we be thanking amazon and flipkart? Weren't it for them, we would still be getting ripped off (and still are, just some people know its better to lower the price while some are still egoistic for their own way ).

PS: not looking for huge discussion rather some insight if my thinking is right or wrong or incomplete

Coming from a non-metro, it was alright. I had my first hands-on experience with a build in 2002 thanks to my brother. If you knew the dealer(brother's friend in my case), you won't be ripped off as much and he will suggest you durable stuff. For instance, I still have the mechanical keyboard he basically forced us to choose from 02 back at home.

Memories aside, Without major online retailers, you never had a rough price estimate so you could never say whether you're being ripped off. The same dealer sold the same components to relatives/friends of mine at higher prices. You judge whether it was better or worse

For my PC build, I am thinking of going with IT depot mainly because I am getting a decent discount on the final amount which is less than amazon. Additionally they are going to ship an assembled pc , which is very important as I don't know how assemble one.

I have finalized the following components suggested by goDofWar_skr, only change being the cabinet. Can you guys suggest if this is ok ? Also I wanted to know if there is a huge difference in performance between the zotac 1060 mini and AMP edition and is it worth spending 3k extra for the AMP edition.

    Processor - Intel Core i5 6th Gen 6400 2.7 GHz Processor

    Ram - Corsair Vengeance LPX 4GB (2x4GB) DDR4 2400MHz C16 Memory - Red (CMK4GX4M1A2400C16R)

    Motherboard Gigabyte GA-B150M-D3H 64GB DDR4 Intel Motherboard

Hdd - Western Digital Blue 1TB SATA Internal Desktop Hard Drive (WD10EZEX)

Graphic card - Zotac Geforce GTX 1060 Mini 6GB GDDR5 Graphic Card (ZT-P10600A-10L)

PSU - Antec VP Series 450W Power Supply (VP450P)

Cabinet - Antec GX505 Window SC Cabinet

Monitor - ASUS VP228H Gaming Monitor

+1 for theitdepot. All the components were delivered in 24 hours(Bangalore). These guys take packaging seriously. My Corsair 760T was packed under 3 layers of cardboard and bubble wrap. Took 15-20 minutes just to unpack it.

Plus everytime I told them about a lower price they matched it. They weren't able to match the price for RAM and suggested me to buy from Amazon itself.

Ask for discount as you're buying all that. Even after the lowered price they gave me 4% off on the entire order.

    /praise
