  1. Hey guys, I'm thinking of upgrading my workstation monitor from a 24-inch FHD monitor (120 Hz, TFT) to an Ultrawide. I will be doing some gaming on it, but it'll mostly be used for work. After doing some research and speaking to some friends, I had narrowed down some key requirements. 3440 x 1440 resolution 21:9 aspect ratio 34 inches (can go 38 but I think that'll be too big). Preferably glossy screen. (Not at all a fan of dim, anti-glare crap). Now, I had IPS as a requirement in this as well, but for the love of god, I can't find a 120 Hz IPS Ultrawide anywhere. All I could find was this... https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B0C61FDPWK/ But it's 60 Hz. My current 24-inch monitor is 120 Hz and I've enabled 120 Hz on the desktop itself, and I'm afraid I'll find 60 Hz laggy while working All 120 Hz Ultrawide monitors I can find have VA panel, but I'm a bit skeptical about VA panels. I've never owned an IPS display, and I was really hoping to go for an IPS display this time. Also, since it'll be purely for work (web browsing, research, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.), I feel IPS display would be the best for this. Is there an ultrawide I've missed? Is a 120 Hz IPS Ultrawide going to be released soon? Should I compromise and go for a VA panel? What would you guys suggest? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for looking. Have a nice day! Edit: I intend to put my 24-inch monitor in portrait mode and go for a dual-monitor setup with the Ultrawide as my main
  2. Me too. Also, it would be an absolute icing on the cake if modders get it to work with PC
  3. I know it's late to answer this, but no need to wait for code in your email. Simply go to the orders page and it'll show you the codes there, even a link to redeem it.
  4. I just did this for myself. Got 36 months Game Pass Ultimate for 5k. It would've been 4.5k but MS wasn't giving me the 50 offer anymore PS: If any of you are on the fence, I'd say now is the time. They're doing a revamp next year, so no guarantee the current loophole will still exist. Revamp in the sense they're going to introduce another tier and it was also confirmed by Xbox higher ups on Twitter that they're going to increase the price of Game Pass next year.
  5. The rest of the steps were exactly the same. Nonetheless, if someone had asked, I would've posted the link here
  6. Lol, I'm waiting for the same thing. To be honest, I have a huge backlog of games I already own, bought during sale. I can make do without Game Pass for 3 more months.
  7. You're lucky dude. That Rs. 50 offer doesn't keep coming. There will be a time where MS will stop giving it to you on that account, like they did with mine. My Game Pass expired on August 4th. My account still shows Ultimate for 499/month. Which means if I do intend to go for the 3-year deal, I'll have to spend 500 extra to convert it all to Ultimate rather than Rs. 50.
  8. I just found an old reddit link on Xbox India which talks about getting the Xbox Gift Card and then using that amount to buy the 750 Xbox Gold (6 months). The post there mentions that this way, you save up on the GST amount that gets charged per transaction. So if you're going for 3 years, that's 6 transactions totaling Rs. 804 (6 x 134 - 18% GST), which is a significant amount. I am yet to try this method.
  9. May I ask how you did it for under 4k? It's showing me as 750 for 6 months. That's 4500 for 36 months and then Rs. 50 for the Ultimate add-on.
